I always wanted C36 since i had w202 C180....

But I got C32...

C36 is brutal with acceleratios and handling much firmer than C32....

I was driving my friend C36...

Nice car!

Quote: It is a 96, prefer the 4-speed auto that's why i didn't got a 97. Bought it from the first owner. Love the way it drives can't describe the feeling that it gives me. Haven't bought it for racing on puplic roads I just think it is a great car, good looks, nice interior, good engine, and nice handling. It feels great while cruising it surprises me how comfortable it is. Always dreamt about one, started with stupid jobs (: and here it is.
You guys inspire me, love all the mods you guys do.
Although my name is michael i,m still not schumacher I try to drive as safe as posible asr always on, no speeding (germany is very near to my home so I don't have to). i'm aware of being inexperienced
lucky you 4 having a power rear blind in your car.
mine is still @ home uninstalled, scheize verdamt!
however there might be something next year modding my car with colorcoded door handles and the desired rear power curtain

jel ti bude dobar C32 ili imas velike probleme sa kola?
c32 bude poznat za kompressor, korozija i elektronske probleme!!
w203 nemaju prava Mecka kvalitet!

I forgot to say that everything works on the car Going to give it a big service next summer, replacing all filters and oil on the engine and gearbox. going to get oem amg floor mats since the previous owner replaced them with regular w202 mats. Also getting amg pedals. can't wait to hear the gruppe M intake on my c36 as for the outside of the car I will only replace wheels(maybe some lowering and probably an eisenmann muffler). Not sure what wheels to go with, no reps i,m afraid of making performance worse compared to stock. It is a real hard choice many great wheels out there for the w202.
Has anybody ever seen a c36/43 in the colour of mine?

Hmm, 96 with a four speed? I thought (at least in the states) that 96 is when they switched to the 5? I have a 95 with the 4 speed and I don't have the what looks to be W/S switch on my gearshift that is shown in 202mylove's pic

I,m sure it is a 4speed i have checked it. shifted to 4th at 200km/h, it is a E and S switch. I also thought 96 had 5 speed.

Winter wheel test, used Montana Gold Series to see what it would look like before powdercoating:

Yellow, to go with the yellow valvecover.

My wife and I both think the yellow wheels are sweet. Definitely not "pure" or whatever but looks fresh.

i like the green ... looks like the green mirrors from karl wendlinger's sauber F1 car. if i were to paint my wheels that unique color, i would also incorporate more of it up top to balance it out, like the mirrors and rear wing, maybe.

Thanks,it really is that clean....im debating painting the front bumper as 137k has pitted the bumper slightly with stones...but it is amazing that if you take care of the paint after all these years it looks so good...testament to german craftsmnship! Thou it has been garaged everyday of its life lol.

old skool Stangs are very cool.
that's a nice car you've got.

are you going to improve the suspension?
US cars are known to have lousy suspension, like floating waterbeds

Thanks buddy!!! I have lowering springs and shocks on it now.Installing larger Eibach fr and rear anti roll bars and caster/camber plates with adjustable upper and lower rear control arms. That should do it. Suprisingly when i went from the stock 15x7/225/60/15 tire to 17x8 fr 17x 9 rear with 275 40 17 tire and lowering kit it made a HUGE improvement...i love the waterbead comparison
