Hello
Just bought a MB C180 T (w202), with a 1.8 lt petrol engine. Would like to upgrade it to a V8 engine, and saw your post and wonder if you could give me some idea what I can upgrade to as I do not know MB so well.
Also if you know where you can get overhauled engines or used engines.
Thanks
Alexander

As far as you upgrading your engine, you could install whatever you like. It is going to cost $$$$ to do it but if you wanted to you could put a LS7 in your W202. I am assuming you are thinking the C43 engine would be an easy swap but it is not. There would be a lot of modifications that would be required to make the engine fit and work.

This post is SUPER old (from 2004) and the engine I can only imagine is no longer available.

I agree with what 504 has mentioned and can add that nothing is impossible but it certainly is not a straight bolt swap
