Who here actually uses their park lights when parked?
Hey guys, Just wondering who here actually uses their park lights when they park the car, and how long do u leave them on? I ususally do if I park and go to work for a few hours. But everytime i do I have someone come n tell me that my lights are on. Kinda gets old. It really helps (especially since my car is black, n the lot is poorly lit) other drivers see my car so they don't back into the side of it in the parking lot. Also just wondering how long can u leave them on before they drain teh battery.

parking lights as in one turn to the right on the light knob? I never do, BUT I do use the single sided (Left or right) parking lights many times. Use it when parking on the side of the street and its dark.

I think they use them much more often in Europe somewhere. They park partially on the sidewalk and use one of the two sides, at least this was the story I heard. I've been around europe 6 or 8 times this year and never saw it used like that. But who knows.

me neither...but seems like the tale of "europeans use parking lights when parked on the street, turns on the side that is away from sidewalk/curb" have circulated over hear in sf too...
