I got to ask.
Originally i was about to get a 450 with basically all equipment and just before i was going to sign on it they said they where going to change it to an AMG c43 sometime this summer so.
I can get a c63 for just a tad more with less equipment but still the most important parts or i could probably get a little driven c63s for the same money.
I get all the above but i feel like i need to ask.
I wont be driving my car on the track every day, not even every week, maybe 5 times per year.
My concern is do i really want a c43 when i can get a c63 for a tad more?
The S model seems nice and all but do i really need it?
a c63 is within my budget IF i can get a good deal on it.
Also have a question, when building my car and i look at the buildcheet it lists the speedshift MCT, is that now standard on all c63 or is that an error?
Haha - you dont NEED any of them but its a question what you want ! I think I would definitely go for the C63 against 43 as they are very different cars in reality. I went C63 S as I felt there was enough extra to make it worth it but only if you arent paying too much. The R mode, dynamic engine mounts, seats etc make it just that bit more....plus the power of course !

If you want some of these differences on C63 price gets close to C63S
I had a similar dilemma when I went to build a MY16. I wanted to keep the costs to a specific amount for purchasing so either it was going to be a fully loaded C450 or a barebones C63s. I priced them out online and test drove the C63s (C450 wasn't available at the time for testing) and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the C63 a lot!
Then I went to sit in some other MB models that have Designo interior as well as other bells and whistles and continued with uncertainty. The first allocation for a MY16 was after the C450 was on the lot so eventually, I was able to test drive that model and I was sold. Built it to my specifications and couldn't be happier.
It all depends on what you want the final outcome to be. Good luck on your decision and enjoy!

Yeah thats why I said etc and .... - when you get down to it the S has quite a few extra touches - they arent on their own maybe that significant (other than seats/diff) but it all adds up quite considerably. Some you cant spec of course like R mode. Lets not forget the C63 is one hell of a car so you wont feel short changed - which you might feel if you get the C43.
Not as in what ? It sure is fitted in my country at least.

@OP - go for the c63 or c63 S AMG if you are getting it for the same price.
I just my 2016 c63 S couple of days back , even though I wasn't planning on buying the W205. I initially had plans of buying W204 c63 but got a great deal last min on the W205 c63 S and never gave it a second thought.
These two days with the car were just out of the world .
Again, its easier if you know what exactly you want.
And as everyone says if you want the real AMG go for the C63.
Been able to rework my lease deal and it looks like i can pick up a new AMG C63S after all.

Make sure you get the Amg exhaust - best button on the car !! Also in the Uk if you buy the Premium pack you get Burmeister sound/Panoramic roof etc - is that not available in Sweden ?

Apparently the price for a car is totally different when you sit down with a good car dealer.
I cut off a VERY good % on my deal. So glad i stopped and thought this over one more time.

Congrats on a smart choice! I test drove the smaller car prior to the c63 and they are night and day - you won't regret the decision.
And you'll love the ILS, especially in Sweden with long stretches of non-lit roads.
Did you get heated seats? I have the performance seats that come with the ED1, and use the heater a lot, as the material feels rather cold. It's also a nice addition before the engine produces enough heat to warm up the interior.
