C43 AMG Coupe
Sorry didn't take any pics of my test drive, but may head back there on the weekend and take some...
It looked, drove and sounded awesome, even without the performance pack on their demo. Very smooth to drive and two completely different cars from comfort to sports+. Comfort mode certainly ticked the boxes for a day to day drive and sports+ turned on the aggression big time.
Loved it and certainly met, if not exceeded high expectations!
Can't compare to C450 as it never came to Australia.

I ordered it in Obsidian Black, Premium Plus with Privacy glass and the 19" AMG Multispoke alloy wheels. I managed to get it for £44823 (12% off list) direct from my local Mercedes branch which seems like a great deal after looking/asking around.
This is going to be my first brand new car and first AMG. I can't wait!

I heard from my dealer again today and he said that it definitely won't be till January because there are to many left over c450 in the USA and Mercedes wants to release the coupes and sedans at the same time for marketing purposes. Wtf

AMG C43 Coupe on order
Hello everyone. After 5 months of waiting my C43 sedan finally arrived. When I went to check out the car I discovered that it didn't have the performance exhaust package which was the main reason I had opted for the (semi)AMG model.
Obviously I'm extremely disappointed at the moment and left the car at the dealership. I'm currently thinking whether I should ask them to install a custom exhaust system or cancel the deal altogether.
Does someone know if there have been more similar problems with performance exhausts in Europe or was it excluded because of my dealerships carelessness? Somebody said in another thread that performance exhaust system is not allowed in the EU but the dealership told me nothing and I couldn't find a credible source which would confirm this.
Also, which is the best aftermarket exhaust system for C43?

I'm in the U.K, still currently in the EU, all demo C43 coupes have this exhaust on them as standard, and that spec is on my order form.
You have to select it as an option on the saloon.

Managed to get a build for a sedan scheduled for next week (and I think it already started production last week).
Murmurs about a delay here in the states certainly suck but it should be worth the wait, especially with the performance exhaust option.

I don't blame you for walking away. That noise is so addictive and was one of the main reasons for buying it. It sounds incredible!

Yeah, I would definitely walk away if it's lacking the performance exhaust. The exhaust (and not the 9G) is the only FOMO i feel in regards to the C43 replacing the C450. However, I did install the AWE tuning touring exhaust and the C450 does sound considerably louder and deeper but no where as cool as having a controllable valve performance exhaust built from merc factory
