C43 AMG availability

Does anyone have some more info on when the C43 AMG is available in the US?

I am doing cross shopping between S5, 435xi, and the C43AMG.
Test drove S5 and 435xi. The closest I got to a C43 was the C450AMG.
I like the specs of the C43AMG (HP) but don't know what to expect driving it.

I ordered on day 1 of the US order system opening to accept orders and the confirmed build date of my allocation is 9/3. From Europe delivery is expected to be around week 3 of October.

So, with other words orders can be placed. Went to a (US) MB dealer 1 week ago and they didn't know how to place an order....
Can I asked when you placed yours?
Is there an options sheet since the online configuration is not up yet?

Dealer Ordering Guide is here. I uploaded it a week ago.

Netstar is the system they use to order C43.

Ordering opened on 6/6 in the US...and the order guides have been out for months. Believe the June 13th (??? can't remember the exact date, but it was the second June update to the DOG) was the first one to have the option pricing. All of this is for the Coupe...ordering on the sedans opened much earlier and the option pricing in the DOG came much later.

As a current owner of a B8.5 S5, I think you'd be better off/happier with the C43. When speaking in technical terms, the B9 is supposed to be better than the B8.5 (although many of us on the Audi boards feel this would be better called a B8.75 than a B9) its replacing ... but cosmetically speaking, the B9 falls short - with the exception of a sneak peek at a Teal B9 RS.5 seen sans camo. I'm personally following the roll-out of the C43 with the expectation of moving into an E43 Coupe unless I'm somehow thoroughly disappointed by it - which would bring the C43 into play.

If you like the 450, you will like the 43 - they really aren't very different. If the transmission in the 450 bugs you, don't worry - it's changing.

The B9 should actually be a contender this time. It removes a lot of the understeer (apparently from the reviews I've seen), adds so much needed volume to the exhaust note, and losses some weight.

Have driven the 435 and liked the handling and acceleration. The interior materials, not so much. iDrive and the smart keys are great.
Similarly equipped the BMW MSRP will likely be slightly less and the BMW will also probably have a slightly higher residual (haven't seen any C43 residual announcements yet - only 56% on 450 but 60% on BMW 3 series).
Still, I like the handling, acceleration and interior of the MB better.
Ordered my C43 sedan on 6/24. Current build forecast is the third decade of September.
