Added the black hood badge today from the 2017 Night Package. P/N A000 817 1701. Nice little upgrade. Only about $30 and took 10 seconds to install.

Badge is held in place by a couple spring clips. Swapping couldn't be easier, don't even need tools.

Haha, thanks Jimmy. Honestly I am the worst when it comes to washing my vehicle. I seem to have no patience with the drying process and get fed up.

But I made it a point this time around with this car, to do a proper/thorough washes in the garage and take my time. First time owning white (mainly had black) so it's definitely increased my tolerance when it comes to re-wipes/re-checks of dirt.

Glad it showed in this case, lol.

New member here. Came from BMW and never thought I would leave...until I drove it.

Here she is. Picked her up yesterday. Pretty sure I slept with a smile

Asked my dealer about this badge and they told me it wasn't available for the C-class (I'm in the US) , I wonder if I gave him that part number you supplied if they could order it.

Got the upgraded AMG splitter, definitely like how it looks. Dropped it off yesterday for clear bra/ceramic coat, having it de-badged as well, I think it'll look a lot cleaner personally (leaving the Merc. logo on the trunk and the "AMG" logo in the front grill, but taking off the "biturbo" badges on each fender and the "AMG" and "C43" badges on the back)

Another shot with the new splitter. Also has Formula One pinnacle 15 on all the side windows and pinnacle 50 on the windshields. Looks darker in pictures than it does in person (you can see through it in person, where-as it looks like a mirror in most pictures).

You can order from mbpartsfactory here - https://www.mbpartsfactory.com/oem-p...ign-0008171701

It's actually MB Long Beach that operates and ships. Should be <$40 delivered.

Nice! How much did you pay for the splitter and where?

Thanks! I definitely think it enhances the look a bit, it's subtle but nice, and I'm thinking it'll definitely look cleaner debadged, excited to see it.

Thanks! I definitely need to get one, especially since my 43 is black, looks much better than the stock blue/silver one.

I got it straight from the dealer for $780, on the US mercedes configurator you'll actually see it as an option now, although it doesn't come installed from the factory (your dealer will install it).

They also sell bigger AMG side sills ($1100), AMG rear apron trim ($810), and AMG rear flics ($310). I like the side sills (same ones that come on the edition 1 C63S coupe) but they're very pricy, and don't come color matched like the stock ones do. The rear apron trim (also same part that comes on the edition 1 C63S coupe) looks good too but I'm going to get the 63 rear valence/exhaust tips etc. instead. And I think the flics are a great upgrade for any 43 that's not black, but on a black car they kind of just blend in, they look great on selenite or pretty much any other color though. All of these parts come in gloss black so they don't need to be painted (unless you want a different color, I almost had the splitter painted obsidian to match my car but decided against it)
