Official C43 pic thread
It would stink to have to run snows for a month
How bad exactly are the summer tires in the snow?
The only other car as a daily driver that I remotely thought about was the little Jag, but the interior is cheap looking. I was also thinking of a GLC .
There just isn't going to be any grip to turn and brake is more the issue than traction. I think by Monday we will be good to go. It will be warm Sunday and Monday.
Summer tires on snow? Sure you can get going with AWD, but good luck on stopping or turning.
Off-topic curiosity, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you, Jimmy?

I must say I can't be more pleased with the car, the look of the night package contrast to the polar white is brilliant!

some pics ice from the show room, the cleanest that car will ever be! Honestly the pics don't do justice to how awesome this car looks!
Quick question about "de-badging", why did you choose to do it?
Again, looks great just wondering as I see people in my area doing that as well and wasn't sure why
Also, do you need to do any body work (are there hole drilled anywhere where the badges used to be)?
Thanks !!

Cheers
White is the best color for hiding dirt and always looking clean. Might look a little dirty up close, but past 15ft, it'll always look like it was just washed. Unless you're mudding in it or something

Black on the other hand.....

Any tips on cleaning this beast would be much appreciated! thx

Nothing looks better when pristine though.

Thanks so much for the compliment. I chose to debadge it for a cleaner look. No holes at all from removing the lettering. I had the dealership do it.
To each their own, but I live on Meguiar's QD. I only use it after washes, or when the roads are dry and I park it at home I will use my California Duster first, then finish with the QD. Looks amazing and deep shine. It works especially well with a polymer seal or ceramic coating. I have Xpel and CQuartz Finest on my Z06 and it makes washing unnecessary.
I am going to try this QD called Blackfire, I hear a lot of good reviews about it.
