Stupid question about buying winter tires for my C43, please help

I'm using 19' right now with my summer tires on my 2017 C43. I'm looking for a set of 18' wheels and tires for winter, and I saw a store selling brand new set of 4 245/45R18 Pirelli Sottozero 3 for $600 CAD (Tires Only). Two questions:

1. Is it going to fit on my car?
2. If yes, is it a good deal?

Thanks and I'm living in Toronto

You're going backwards. You need to find the 18'' wheels that fit your car then match the tires to the new wheels if you plan on swapping out the stock 19's. Wheel clearances (clearance for brakes and control arms) can be tricky with the 450/43 models so you need to do a little homework before buying.

Tire Rack has some helpful tools:

I have 18X8 rims with 35mm offset running Nokian 225/45R18's.

You need to find wheels that will fit those tires.

I did a lot of research in to finding the best possible aftermarket (Mercedes was charging me 6k all in for winter tires and rims...) options and found that simplytire.com was good for me.

They tested 18x8 et35 was a fit for a C43. It just barely clears the AMG calliper though.

Continental TS830's are the manufacturer suggested winter tire by corporate dealerships in the GTA. You can get a set of these tires (or even better, TS850s) + 18 inch matte black rims to fit for about 2 grand.

Thanks for ur advice. However $2K is a bit over my budget, I'm willing to spend $1500 for the wheels and tires.

As far as I'm concerned, Nokians are the best winter tires out there.

They are quiet, ride nicely, and work extremely well in all conditions.

I think you're going to have a hard time with that budget.

I understand, that's why I need to spend some time for shopping around. I hope I can find some good deals from the clearance.

The problem with snows is they sell out and are seasonal and the sizing you need is also more difficult to find.

Before taxes my rims were $198 and the tires were around $280 (and they are sold out for the season).

Happy hunting.

My winter set up, 18x8 can't remember what my offset is but it's either +30 or +35. I got Gislaved NordFrost 200 and put in the TPMS sensors. Got it from SimplyTire.

If TPMS sensors are not used, is there any issues other than perhaps a warning light?

jerhu which wheels are those?

Not exactly sure. I was going back and fourth with andy. This is the only rim he had that would fit the car at the time. All others were either on back order or wouldn't fit, or the TPMS sensors wouldn't sit properly.

I know they're BBS reps supposedly but as for the actual name I never asked since I just needed rims that would fit.

Just a light although every once in a while it will give a message in the screen that says sensors not present or something like that and you just press the back button and it goes back to just an amber light in the left guage.
