FYI- just saw on IG that Morendi has successfully swapped the new Turbos from the E43 into the C43. I wish they were in USA as this would be an awesome swap. Factory specs on the E43 is 396HP vs 367 in the C43AMG achieved with the larger Turbos and software tunning.

Do you know if all the valvetrain components are the same between the C43 and E43 engine? The E43 might be using stronger valve train components to take the increased load from the larger turbos. If it is indeed the same load bearing components between these two engines, then swapping the turbos would be the best way to increase the HP on these engines without worrying about too much.

There is almost zero chance that any of what you just referenced will have any bearing on the matter.Originally Posted by munis

They're not increasing the RPM limit of the motor. Just adding more, efficient boost.
So it looks like it could just be a straight turbo swap. Any MB techs out there able to lookup pricing on the turbos for the new E43 from MB? I'd be willing to ping AMR and see if they could create a software tune to accomodate. I bet with proper software, exhaust and an intake (when AWE releases it) you could reasonably expect 530 or so HP.
