Does anyone remember the thread where we were talking about an annoying rattle people were experiencing on the interior rear passenger side? Seems to be coming from the roof area. I recall some suggestions but can't find the thread anymore as I think it has been archived.

there were a lot. But, since the separation of the different c class engines its all over the place. My suggestion is to use the search with the chassis instead. W205 rattles, that should pull up most of it.

Getting alot of it (from what seems to be) my passenger front door area. Sounds like mice having a party in there.

Hi everyone, new member here, first post. Purchased my vehicle 3 weeks ago. I did have just the one rattle sound coming from the panoramic sunroof area, right side rear. Took the car back to the dealer, they fixed it in a couple of hours. Problem: not enough insulation between the retractable sunroof and the body of the car (if that makes sense, in non technical terms). Otherwise, I must be one of the lucky ones, no rattles or any other sounds.

I originally thought the sound was coming from the back cover where the rear speakers were, but after I tried comparing volumes when the seats were folded, I realized it was coming from the trunk. It turns out my rattle was coming from a plastic piece vibrating against the chassis of the car right behind the seats. It's the area right on top of the fuel tank. I messed around with the area by pressing and pulling on areas to examine which part was causing the vibration and put some felt tape between the parts

Seen a few threads on this , is anyone experiencing interior rattles on their C43?

i have them coming from both doors, the centre console and a very squeaky drivers seat all of which are driving me mad along with squeaky brakes !!!!!

Yes, same here, roughly 6 months after purchase, it has gotten worse. It seems that the sources are: both doors on the passenger side, so front and rear, centre console, sunroof. No squeaky breaks though

i have had mine in to two different dealers to address the rear rattle. At one point I thouht they fixed it but not really as it continues to be an issue. I think you have to get a friend to help you identify where the rattle is coming from and then try to address it. No door rattles but sometimes the gps screen squeaks

I have a cab, it's a few months old, there's some light creaking/noises coming from the steering wheel area. Anyone?

I am at my wits end with the nosies in my 2017 C43 sedan. What I thought were noises coming from either passenger seat or rear door we resolved by the dealer replacing the weather stripping in all windows. Already had the command center console replaced, still getting noise from what appears to be steering column but is actually from the molding all around the center console. Dealer put felt tape under molding but did not resolve the issue. Dealer just had the car for 4 Days, was told they added more felt but apparently this time they used some type of glue. Well the glue is now seeping through the molding and I have a white residue all over the Center console. So now they have to order an entire new console...not happy....ready to tell them to take the car back
