The only throttle related issues I've noticed are coupled to either Traction Control being "on" or having the transmission in Auto or simply being in too high of a gear.
Curious to hear more detail as none was provided but from my personal experience TC is waaaaay to obtrusive.

I'm annoyed a bit too! When you hit the gas it takes off soft for a second before it accelerates hard. It does this in all modes. I would understand in eco and comfort but it's just crappy programming by Mercedes!

I actually canceled my model3 reservation to get the c43 because, while I like teslas, the interior just isn't good enough for the price tag. I do love the c43. The throttle thing is a minor annoyance on an otherwise great car.

If you want it to respond like a real sports car, you will need to learn how to use the flappy paddles.
There is NO throttle lag present on this model.
What you are describing as throttle lag is actually the transmission. It sounds like you are relying on kickdown instead of downshifting ahead of a quick burst of acceleration.

yeah. I'm trying to learn to use the paddles. I have a couple of times on freeway, when I slam on the gas, the car doesn't downshift, it doesn't go any faster.

The model I test drove did it too so I know it's not that mine is broken and it's the 2017.
Any lag in higher than first gear is turbo lag or in too high a gear and have to wait for down shift lag which is understandable. If someone is experiencing that hit the down shift paddle twice or so before stomping on the gas. That should help that situation.
The car does have more turbo lag than my ecoboost mustang had. I've also read reviewers comment on the turbo lag.
Minor imperfections I'm just nit picking here.

If it doesnt down shift that is a problem you should have looked at. If there's a second or two delay than that's the transmission your waiting on. Hit the downshift paddle twice before gunning it. You don't have to put it in manual. Actually better that you don't so auto takes back over.

Best solution in this situation is to get a tune. Just got stage1 from AMR on Wed. And all throttle limps and lags are gone! So frikkin overjoyed, the annoying 1 second dead throttle that occurs the moment when the car is accelerating from a deceleration is also gone!!
Also here's a trick I've used on the highway: hold the downshift paddle and your car will automatically drop to the lowest possible gear (or was it auto 2-gear drop?) but its less likely you'll over downshift and get rejected at redline with this method. And if anytime, hold the upshift paddle and the car will automatically got back into D mode

Turbo lag is quite low in the C43, at least in mine. The throttle is quite responsive, either from a stop or with sudden acceleration from speed. It's definitely better than the CLA45, for instance.
The holding the left paddle is a nice trick to shift into the best passing gear, if you are already at speed.

What I described above is in first gear from a stop. It does it in manual mode too. So it's not the transmission. From what I read somewhere else it's mercedes programming a rolling start before allowing hard acceleration. The only solution is a tune. Gonna see if breakboosting skips the delay.

Tune will take care of it. I hated the throttle response when I got my 43 but after the AMR stage 1, I have never had that complaint since. I wish it came from the factory like this lol

OK I give up. I can't get a link to *********(another MB site that has boost in the name) but you can easily find the site and the AMR dyno run.

40hp is what you get with a piggyback tune. You really feel the AMR tune. I can tell cuz I can actually keep up with a F80 M3 on the highway now. But we're not as nimble as them, so when there's light traffic even, I don't even bother weaving through them. Them M3 drivers are crazy, total disregard for their surroundings.
