If you have other sporty car. Please help to do the same on it and see if the jerking occurs.
+1 it's definitely the one thing I like least about this car. You'd think MB would have a fix for this... It always happens at the worst or least opportune times, like passing through an intersection trying to hurry and avoid oncoming traffic.

My 991 Porsche 520 HP Turbo in Sport + never did this..... My new 991.2 580 HP Turbo S in Sport + (Now at 615HP with 100 cell cat sport exhaust) and it does not do it either.

Come on MB..... FIX this thing!

But I'm guessing you mean something else when you say it's jerking? Have you ever driven a manual before? If so, does it feel similar to when you go too slow for a particular gear (lugging the engine) and the car starts to shudder (shake) before stalling?

That's what I was thinking. That much power taking the foot off and applying the gas will cause a lot of decel and acceleration surges.

My issue is unrelated as occasionally my Sport+ mode doesn't shift all the way down to 1st when coming to a complete stop.

What is the consensus on the transmission software upgrades? good thing, bad thing? I've gotten pretty used to the way my 16 C450 drives and shifts, but going to have a service done this week and wonder if I should mention to have any transmission update done?
