H&R Lowering Springs?
#52
Had a conversation with them recently about kits for the C43. They said testing will begin at the end on 17.
That's where I plan to
spend my money.

OK....so my car is a whopping 8 weeks old (C43). Had it for 6 weeks and then put the H&R springs on. Stance is nice, although as some on another thread had stated, it looks like it is a bit lower in the rear (purely an aesthetic thing due to wheel well gap).
The ride is solid, although i didn't have much to complain about prior. I think you do feel each bump a bit more due to the stiffness. I really couldn't see going up to a 20" wheel with this drop though, so it does limit you in that regard.
Overall, a decent bang for buck. For anyone in SoCal, may i recommend EAS to install it. Did a good job, didn't take too long, and were very thorough in their test drive post install.
😉

I know quite a few who had these issues. But I think a different batch does not have it. Me for example, my front is really really low for some reason, so I have no reverse rake. May be I am just fat haha.

Picked up my C43 earlier this week.. ive had H&R SS on previous cars but looking at the rake made me pull the trigger on the H&R VTF.. crazy money for springs but I dont want to waste time and money installing the SS's when I know I wont be happy with them and probably move to the VTF anyways.

A quick question on the lowering springs for someone who is new to the Mercedes world (but not new to car mods ). Just picked up a C450 AMG And was looking into doing these springs.
Is there any modification needed by the shop doing install for the electronic dampers? I’ve read through a few posts here and there , including this one and I haven’t seen anyone menrion it. A friend of mine mentioned needing some adjustment with his C63 AMG. Excuse the ignorance ladies and gents if I missed it. Appreciate any information on it. Thanks.

Fresh from the shop pics
-literally straight from the shop....very dirty
-No reverse rake
-ride quality is almost exactly the same
-not at all as “hoppy” as I thought it may be
