C43 Sedan Tested by C&D

Just as expected, it's a bit faster than the C43 Coupe (weight difference). But I am surprised that it's almost one and half second faster than C450 from 0-130mph, seems like the 9g-tronic has a much better gearing.

2024 X5 M60i, 2018 C63S Coupe (sold)
The weight difference is 8 lbs as-tested and they both hit 60 in 4.1s.

Sedan is 3900 lbs.
Coupe is 3908 lbs.

Great article. Yes the 9G-tronic definitely feels more responsive than the 7G in the C450.

Polar White C43 Sedan
Man this car puts down some serious numbers. It just doesn't feel 4.1 seconds to 60 quick to me but if they say so it's all good.

Odd. MB quotes the sedan c43 @ 3727 (albeit, likely without any options or pano roof).

17' C43 Sedan
Just ordered one today to replace my CLS which is coming to end of it's lease. Can't wait to get this car. Cheaper payment and still a strong performer.

I don't think that these numbers are correct. The sedan is 160 lbs lighter than the Coupe.

The C&D test sheets for both the sedan and coupe have curb weights including corner weights. The particular sedan that was tested has the panoramic roof option which is probably why it weighs the same as the coupe.

I would be very surprised if the numbers were incorrect.

The 3727 lbs car must be without the Pano roof and 18" base wheels. Although it does not state that on the MB website.
