Polar White C43 Sedan
Here is the C&D full review of the S5. The C43 outperforms the S5 by a considerable amount.

2 tenths isn't a considerable amount in the 0-60 or 1/4 mile especially since it's unlikely they were both tested on the same day in the same conditions.
I'd want to see a same date test to confirm just what differences, if any there are.

My business partner has a 2016 S4. I would take a C43 over an S4/S5 100 out of 100 days. In my opinion, the Audi doesn't compare in styling - especially interior.

Mercedes AMG C43 ,Mini JCW & Skoda Octavia RS
I would consider this S5 sportback jf I don't stick to Mercedes after my C450 lease end 🤔 the exterior is not as aggressive as the previous S5 though.
The interior is nice, but if MB would throw the "iPad" within the dash like the E Class, I would no doubt prefer the MB interior over Audis.
Performance wise, I'd say neck & neck.
You'll probably find more options for the S5, in terms of aftermarket/tuning options.

Depends on what you consider outperforms, to me it seems to be 0-60 only.
There are other aspects to owing a car.

The braking performance on the S4 is jawdropping--that's the same stopping distance as a McLaren 570S! Great interior noise level too--close to what a S Class or A8 would do.
I still prefer my C43 overall though.

WTF is wrong with lexus?? RC 350 F Sport; 3.5 L V6 AWD with 306 HP; 0-60 in 6.0 sec; Fuel economy 19/26. Who is buying them with those numbers??
I know. Couldn't resist.

But it will go to 300k with nothing but oil changes, and the dealer will treat you like royalty every time you come in. Lexus does some things very well.

I am not disputing those facts. But, even a Toyota can do that. Also, I am not panning the lexus brand as a whole. They make some great cars. However, I believe the RC 350 F sport doesn't make sense. For something that as "F Sport" in it's name, those numbers are very underwhelming. If you argue that it is just a luxury vehicle and isn't supposed to be sporty, look at the fuel economy numbers. If you argue that it is a sporty vehicle and isn't supposed to be economical, look at the 0-60 numbers. Even the base price isn't that attractive. Only a couple thousand dollars less than the C 43. I mean to me this vehicle doesn't make sense to buyers from any segment.
