Part of the issue is having such a short sidewall. Sure, it helps with performance looks, but it makes for a harsh ride. It's one of the downside to running a 19" wheel, with only a 25" tall tire. Just look at the load rating on the side of the tire, and anything near 100 is going to have a harsher ride, but it's needed so you don't damage the wheel when you hit hard bumps.

Honestly, here in the northeast, I would run the 18" wheel/tire combo to get that extra 0.5" of tirewall to make for a little less harsh ride.

Hi New guy here.. I currently have an Infiniti waiting for the lease to run out. I actually sold wheels and tires for a Big internet place.. I also tried a bunch of tires on my Q50.. I had Michelin AS/3+, BFG Comp, and My favorite the Pirelli P-Zero AS Plus.. I thought the Michelin was a bit harsh, the BFG a bit too squirmy, The Pirelli is sticky wet and dry.. The car came with RFT's horrible.. Loud, harsh, ill handling I'd read the Conti DWS 06 could be a little too soft..

I don't feel that way...I just replaced the OE tires with the AS3+ and they ARE MUCH BETTER totally different car. The road noise especially and much better ride.

I'm sure the Michelin is way better than the OE RFT's In comparison to other Non-RFT's I found them a "bit" harsh but top notch performance and of course they'll be way more comfortable than a RFT..

Just replaced the run flats with the A/S 3+. Noticeably smoother and quieter

I have the 19" Pirelli run flats on my coupe. I think they're ok. Wondering why I didn't get Continentals like some of you ? And did any one else get the Pirelli - if so , your thoughts please? I may have to get a new set if they don't last either.

I have found that the Pirelli P ZERO have excellent grip in the dry, and moderate grip in the wet. But they don't last long, they needed to be replaced after 7000 miles on my C63. So I immediate changed to another brand, when they gave up the ghost. You might want to consider that, when yours give up the ghost.

I've got Pzero's on my car, excellent grip even in wet. Tread life has been good, I've got about 6000 miles on the car and plenty of tread left. I don't beat on the car all the time, most times I'm in comfort mode cruising through our crappy traffic. Sometimes I would get on it in sports+. No track time yet.

I drive the coupe and have no complaints about these Pirelli run flats so far . I don't sense the ride being harsh at all. Although my expectation is probably different than some of the sedan owners who value comfort more than me? I just hope these tires last for 2 more summers in Michigan
