After a good ride?

Even though the tech has evolved and we have after-run pumps and water cooled turbos now, I will still never shut off a turbo car directly after running it hard. Especially when the manifolds/turbine housing is still got a bit of a glow to it (assuming here for a point obviously since you can't see under the hood as you turn off your car). If all you can do is idle, let it idle for a little bit. But airflow is best. for the last few minutes of any drive I always make sure to only give very light throttle and let it coast as much as possible.
I haven't heard an afterrun pump going out my 450 (do we have one?), but even if we do have one that switches on when necessary, getting ambient air through all the heat exchangers and the engine bay air pulled from the exit vents beneath the car are much more effective.
TL;DR - You don't stress about it too much. Just don't be a d!ck to your car
