Thank you! I've had the car since July last year and still studying this MBWorld forum and learning a lot. I am coming from manual naturally aspirated cars (13' 370Z then 17' Camaro 2SS) with no tuning or mods. This automatic TT3.0L V6 platform is a complete new world for me and I am really enjoying it. Also have a lot more time on my hands now since I'm not traveling for work... Gotta take the good with the bad.
Yes @AMGjimbo609 's C450 is cruising no doubt about that on just downpipes and Stage 2!! Definitely giving me confidence in continuing to push for more power. Due to my lack of expertise in tuning overall and the fact I have no support system here in Pittsburgh, PA, for tuning, so any codes or whatever I run into, I would be on my own trying to work through it, I am still hesitant to tune the car too close to the limit as. (If anybody knows of trust worthy shops/tuner for Mercedes around Pittsburgh area I would very much appreciate information! Called and tried all the shops I could find and no luck...)
I think the next step I keep leaning towards due to my geographic location is JB4 to push a little more boost and run a little E85 on a custom map. I think JB4 will also help me in learning more about tuning by being able to log, see and understand what's happening, etc.
I see you also drive a C450, do you have any mods to yours?! What kind of times are you running?
@rapha_22 I appreciate the support my friend! Like I said, Pittsburgh is not that far away from Jersey lol. If you really wanna get a custom map calibrated bring the car down to Labworx! It'll definitely be worth the trip.
Labworx aka Kevin Baldi, who "doesn't_lift" has been tuning exotics for a long time, good luck trying to get a hold of him. If I didn't want to keep my ECU stock, I would've went with him.
Haha Pittsburgh is really not that far from Jersey @AMGjimbo609 ! I make that drive every now and again to visit my cousin who lives in NYC. I'll hit u up next time I go and we can take our sleepers to break some hearts at a track or something.
Lol like I said I just wish any of them were in Pittsburgh to be able to have small maintenance things done and also other modifications. Just be able to build that relationship close to home and have somebody work on it that would know the history of the car since I don't want to rely on MB OEM service. I'm super pleased with Eurocharged, NY, wish they could move their shop a little closer to me but that is my only complaint lol.
Luckily though there was this thing called the superbowl going on yesterday and the roads were empty. Was prepared to do a few runs, then did this one as my first and just called it a day afterwards, saw what I needed to see haha.
No changes made to the car or fuel since the last dragy posts, just really getting a better launch and the car did the rest.
Soooo mad about this... The report was generated even for the 1/8 mile see picture above it is the same run, however it did not generate a 1/4 mile time. I'll get some more runs in it's no worries but this is unfortunately the only proof I have as of now...
Finally put this car in the 10s and what I see, is possible do 10.8s stock turbos and motor and not weight reduction and all season tires dws 🦾🙏🏻🍾🍾 thanks guys!! Is a win for a m276 platform 🙌🏻

Eurocharged Canada ECU/TCU, Custom soon to be released intakes, True cold air, Weistec ceramic coated DP, Wagner IC, Martin tuning LPFP, Spool HPFP. Stock Turbos, E37 fuel.
I am mad my fastest run was just a little bit too downhill. I need to find some flat roads. We are also only tuned for e30. working to up the tune to e60 and even e70 for summer! I expect to be the first sub 10s without meth! These runs on winter tires too. Not the best traction from a dig but it actually wasnt bad. if you are the type of person that doesnt want to go the WMI route I highly recommend upgrading the c43 weak fuel system. It transforms the car.
It took Jeff literally like a full YEAR! lol to get from 11.05 to under 10. Those are definitely hard fought milliseconds.
You did us proud Jeff. XOXOXOXO
thanks 🙏🏻 yes I’m the tape person like go little bit little like that is easy monitoring if something is wrong or the car don’t liked. We noticed the fuel pressure was very restricted, install fx-180 spool pump fuel pressure and we noticed is more room to keep pushing 2 weeks development the file and we still have another file more aggressive maybe test in couple months and is should be faster. 🦾
Told y’all, 10’s are possible w the fuel pump, intercooler, meth and all the supporting mods. Just gotta wait for the weather to warm up so everyone can get the best times
2017 GLC 43
Mods: Drivetrain None - Stock
Wheels/Tires: OEM 2021 AMG GT43 19" w/ Pirelli PZero PZ4
Weight (as weighed on scales at MDIR) 4495 with 1/4 tank 93 Octane fuel and this fat guy in the driver seat
Dragy was consistently just a .100th low of the official times from the track. See the side by side below.
Car ran bracket racer consistent - was very pleased with that. The second run I made I was unable to get the car on boost before launch the run suffered. The other 3 were all very, very spot on each other. Had a lot of fun.
Will be adding BMS intakes and the JB4 piggy back this week. Hope to make it back out next weekend for next round of test and tune to compare results.
Went back to the track on Sunday to get some new numbers with the JB4 installed along with the BMS intakes. A few notes:
2017 GLC 43
JB4 w/ connect kit installed, running MAP 1
BMS Intakes
1/4 tank 93 Octane pump gas
4,450 lbs w/ driver (I changed out my subwoofer set up and added a few lbs from last weekend - 10" JL powered enclosure to a 12" JL w/ outboard JL mono block amp)
Sport +, Traction Control OFF, brake boost launces attempted (only managed to get 2 passes with consistent boost built)
Runs were 12.8, 12.6, 12.5, 12.8
Take a look at how dead spot on that dragy time is to my timeslip!
Also, included screen shot of data log on my 4 runs. I can clearly see where the throttle closed and boost was cut which corrolates with what I felt from behind the wheel, almost like car was laying over in between shifts.
What is troubling me (and I have sent a lengthy email to support@burgermotorsports) is that the car was nowhere near as consistent as it was in stock form. On all but one run there were drop offs in boost and power through the gears which led to inconsistent times. Attached is a little video I made of the day showing my first run at 12.8 and my full run at 12.5.
I want to move up to Map 2 but am concerned about the safety triggers being activated on Map 1 (if that's what's causing the power drop offs). Any insight anyone can provide? Also, based on folks experience here w/ JB4 and various maps, are 11's conceivable with moving up Maps and fuel blends or will I need to take that plunge and upgrade downpipes with some E85 to reach that goal? Thanks in advance, B
Run 1: 12.8 Run 2: 12.6 Run 3: 12.5 Run 4: 12.8
And lastly, my little video edit of our day Good times.
Not sure if this was covered and maybe obvious, but sounds like traction control to me. If you click the traction control button once it does not fully disable traction control. You have to press and hold until you get the traction control disabled light. I know I get a bog between shifts even when slip is undetectable with traction control on.

Ironically, that's what support at Burger Motorsports told me too. Unfortunately it was completely defeated (not sport mode but fully off). They also suggested wheel spin, although I'm skeptical of that considering track prep and the weight of this thing. I just don't think it's making enough power to overwhelm the available traction, but I could definitely be wrong. I've added some blended fuel and will be heading back for one more go at some time slips this weekend. I just wish it were predictable in the way it behaves. I have literally no idea what to expect out of it since I can't seem to get it to perform the same way more than once at any given time lol. Even test hits on the street with the Dragy are netting wildly varying times and the car shifts and pulls differently almost every single time. If I can't get it to settle down and be consistent I may consider selling the JB4 and looking at alternatives. For all the research I did combing the forums for information both here and on the N54 boards, very few people discuss in any detail how drivability is affected with these tunes or piggy back tuners. I've not got much appetite for a tune or performance in which I have no idea what will happen when I drop the right foot down. Either way, I'll post up what I find out on Sunday

Check for bent pins,, then check and reseat all the connections. If there's no improvement, you may have a defective JB4.
I've seen very consistent runs from loads of JB4 cars. As consistent as stock.

Definitely not a bad JB4. The car just doesn't like the shifts. Took it back to the track again this weekend and bettered my personal best but even on that run the far fell on it's face on the 2/3 shift. It pisses me off so bad. It's enough that it's easily a couple of tenths of ET left on the table. Trying to get feedback or some idea of why it's doing it is running me in circles. Something is going on in the ECU that it's cutting boost and cutting throttle position.
This is ugly:
In the video clip below I had to edit the 12.3 run that this log was from because I screamed some profanity out loud because I knew it was on a rip of a pass and that stumble on the 2/3 shift robbed ET.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with where I've gotten, but upset that it feels like there is a lot being left on the table, especially compared to the boost levels I see some of the C43 guys running on JB4's alone. But I'm not getting anywhere with support. At any rate, I picked a pig to tune and I should just be happy it gets out of it's own way I suppose lol

Is your fueling up top cutting off? Seems reasonable, timing getting retarded from detonation? Have you tried running an octane booster or race fuel to see if it goes away?

Simple answer is I don't know. Not getting anywhere with BMS support. Terry himself was very responsive, even answering emails over the weekend but not much to offer in the way of answers or guidance. The default answer is "it is what it is". That isn't an answer or an explanation, at least not one that's acceptable to me. All my runs at the track last weekend were on E30 fuel. 5 gallons of E85 to an otherwise full tank of 93. BMS had me connect the green fuel wire under the intake but it didn't seem to have much of an effect on drivability of the car. Makes me very curious about how the flash tuned cars actually drive. Are there power drops and hesitation like I'm seeing, or do they pull strong from 1st through 5th like the car does in stock form? Once tuned, is stumbling on gear changes like this normal? Is it possible the TCU is freaking out on gears 1/2/3 from torque spikes? I don't know. I'm so disgusted with it at the moment I just ran the rest of the fuel out and refilled with straight 93 and am back to running on Map 2. I'm going to leave it alone for a while and focus on some other cosmetic upgrades until I have the patience to dig into this some more. Walking away for a bit so to speak

I have an EC Dyno tune, gone thru several revisions as I've changed hardware, had a couple of torque limit issues before but all sorted. None of those issues re shifting or dying up top.
My Estate is doing 3.50 0-60 and 11.67 sec 1/4 mile at 117 mph.
Also the times are easily repeatable over and over.
