Sport Handling Mode

Has anyone tried to drift their C43, and before anyone gets their panties in a bunch about drifting an AWD this is a forum used to learn not to bash the beginners. Cause I mean why else would the sport handling mode be there? Does any one have a better explanation as to what this button actually can and is used for?

I wasn't able to do it, but I barely tried though. Basically you can't in this car

I haven't been able to maintain a drift for more than 3 to 4 seconds.....mainly because I haven't tried to drift that long. If you turn off all traction and gas it hard in a corner in Sport+, you will get properly sideways and drift through the corner.

Let me qualify....don't do the above unless it is both safe and legal to do so

This is not your run off the mill AWD. 70 percent of the power goes to the rear. So if you do turn the traction all the way off and be a bit brave, it will 100% kick its tail out.

If you have really sticky tires like ps4s, then not so much. But a little bit of rain and you can get this car properly sideways.

Exactly what munis said, I turn tracking control off, give it a hit and turn the wheel hard in one direction, the rear wheels will kick out. Car is AWD but RWD based.

On sports handling it will kick out still but is minimal unless the road is wet.

Give it a shot

You've got to apply overly aggressive inputs and drifting in anything above first or second is damn near impossible. And I would consider it more like a power slide than a drift.
