I don’t know the spring rates. That’s info you’re better off looking up from H&R. I can tell you the ride feels the same as stock in all 3 modes IMO.

Hey DVision,

I was wondering if you can link the bolts you needed for your spacers.

Hey! Both of the links for the spacers I shared above include the bolts. If you already have the spacers and all you need is the bolts you can find them at ECS also.

Hey Star, I have already ordered the ECS spacers Division linked above. Thanks for the offer man! I just was not sure that the ones that comes with the kit would actually work. That is why I asked Division just to make sure. So M14x45mm works with our cars? I think I saw you wrote somewhere that we need 40mm.

15mm at the front 20mm at the rear?

stock bolts are M14x1.5 x 27mm long. and they are R14 ball seat. this is very important!! I would confirm if the ecs bolts are r14 ball seats. i would wager they arent.

so the idea is if you have 27mm long stock bolts. you add spacer width to bolt length. i happen to be using 12mm spacers so i need 27mm + 12mm bolts which is 39mm so the closest bolt size is 40mm which is what i will use. for you, you would need 27mm + 15mm = 42mm for the 15mm and 27mm + 20mm for rear which is 47mm bolts if using oem wheels. if using other wheels most likely you need cone seat bolts and lengths will vary depending on manufacturer.

If you look into the pictures in the link it looks like it is ball seat.

Also this is what it says in the description. 14x1.5x47mm Black Ball Seat Wheel Bolts - Ten

So I guess this is good?

the length and thread is good. ball seat is good but there are different radius for ball seat. if its not a r14 ball seat the load and torque wont be distributed evenly and could cause a wear point on wheel. if they are r13 they would most likely be fine but its not correct. r12 is dangerous. I was an idiot kid once and ran r12 ball seat lugs on r14 ball seat wheels unknowingly. all i can say is make sure they sit flush on the wheel ball. install and drive for a few miles take one of the lugs off and post a picture. I can tell you if its a proper radius from seeing where it contacts. I can post a picture of mine when i have time.

Holy, totally missed this part. So we require a R14 ball seat?

Okay, so ECS does not have any Mercedes bolts currently. They don't go by the ball seat radius so they can't tell me which ones do I need. They go by the car manufacturer.

So I cancelled my order for the kits, and just placed an order for the spacers only. Now I only need to find the bolts. Star4life, I will really appreciate your help with this.

are you lowered? do you need 20mm spacers in the back? My bolts would work for the 15mm spacers but would be 2mm short on the 20mm spacers. if you get 7 turns with them they would work for all we know the oem bolts are 2mm too long but i cant say for certain if they would work for you. I buy my bolts from otis inc la. they are a rad bolt distributor. you would need minimum 42mm bolts for front and 47mm bolts for rear but like i said the 45mm bolts for rear may be fine, but if it were me id try to find 47mm bolts or 50mm bolts if thats nearest size.

m14 x 1.5 thread with r14 ball seat and 17mm hex on any bolt you choose.

these are the bolts you need. only issue is i think this guy used fedex to ship and your gunna get killed on shipping to canada. I believe you are in canada right?

If you want, pm me and we can work a deal and get you set up with what you need. i can also machine the bolts down to exact size if you elect to go with locks. i am only doing this becuase i have some bolts already you could use (brand new unused) and it would save you money on shipping and on bolts since you only need to buy what you need instead of complete sets. id be splitting sets with you to get what i need and you would get what you need.

each set below comes with 20 bolts.

http://otisincla.com/product/rad-lug...l-seat-hex-17/ need 10 of these (8 if you buy wheel locks)

http://otisincla.com/product/rad-lug...l-seat-hex-17/ need 10 of these (8 if you buy wheel locks)

need 1 set of these if you want wheel locks. have to grind/cut down to size since he only stocks 50mm locks in r14 seat.

My springs are on the way. And I just ordered the 15mm for front and 20mm for back. Can you PM me how many 45mm you have and how much you want for them? 2mm short on the rear, I think should be fine.

The spacers you ordered should have the correct bolts included. Do not waste money on anything else. I’ve had them on my car since it was purchased in Jan with no issues.

I’m also not the only one with this setup

To be sure...Here’s a bolt from my 15mm spacers I had on for approx 5 months. Maybe Star4life can determine the radius...

just for comparison here’s the stock bolt

C43 only comes with silver calipers. If you want them a different colour, you need to get them painted.

Not sure...sorry. I scraped over a speed bump once but never had any other issues.

I plan on dropping the new one with the same setup this month. I was going back and forth between the sport springs and the 2 height adjustable options but if you have a coupe the springs really do the job for much less.

if you don't have them yet, I highly recommend you get some spacers (15mm front, 20mm rear) to make the wheels look much more flush with the fenders...particularly after you're lowered. If not, the wheels will looked too tucked in (sunken) and that just doesn't do the ride justice
