My wheels arrived, now I just need to locate spacers, Help is needed

Hello Folks,,

I just got my wheels today,,

They are 8.5 front et 40. I need a 8mm spacer with bolts. Anyone can guide to the right direction?

From what I understood there were no hub centric spacers made for 8mm. If so what are my options?

I am trying to make my 8.5 et 40 wheel to 32, (30 if it would not poke too much) but according to knowledgeable members that is not available yet??

If you have a link for an 8 mm spacers and bolts please post it.

I will post pictures for my vehicle when I am done with it for everyone to see.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

These will work:

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...pair/20556659/

These will work (however would recommend the 10's over these and at least a wheel hanger to mount these) :

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...411ecs01a08kt/

and these would work:

I bought a set from Supreme Performance. The quality is great, and so was the service.

they advertise on this forum. I literally texted them my order, they emailed an invoice... paid and shipped. Super easy.

they are finished in black, so they arhave less noticeable when installed.

i can post pics later.

yep first 10mm spacer is what i would use. or the 5mm but the 5mm wont space wheel out far enough. et35 on 8.5j wpnt fit. and the 8mm on the front will not center on hub youll be lug centric .

star4life posted pictures of his, I don't personally have one and have heard some wheels won't slide over certain ones..

I would not recommend the 8mm spacers but I did run them on the rear of my car for a short period of time without issue.

Again, without knowing what type of bolts your new wheels take, it's hard to say what will work.

you should confirm they are ball seat. almost 99% of aftermarket wheels are cone or conical seat.

also i have an oem hanger and the ecs tuning hanger and both work fine. m14 x 1.5 hanger is what you need. I got the oem hanger in teh jack kit for our car. $70 bucks for the jack kit was a no brainer since our cars jack points are specifically made for this jack. Other wise you will need an adapter to properly jack the car without ruining the pads. You could use a solid block of rubber wood or metal but i prefer not to damage the jack pads.

i would not recommend 8mm for front. rear it would be close. but i would recommend 7mm and under for rear ad 6mm and under for front. yes the few mm makes a difference since with those you can get wheel to center on hub. you need at least 3mm of flat hub to center an oem wheel. (2mm for the chamfer and 1mm for wheel to actually center).

They are C63s style wheels (replica)...I will upload pictures tonight!!!! Hopefully.

My spacers and Bolts arrived today. Had to pay for fastest shipping to get'em done Today ($50 worth of shipping) lol.

I reaaaaaaally hope this setup does not poke too much

Current setup

19 x 8.5 et 40 + adding 10mm spacer to bring et to 30. 235/40/19 Tires (FRONT SETUP)

19 x 9.5 et 40 (Not adding spacers) 255/35/19 Tires (REAR SETUP)

According to willtheyfit.com

My fronts are going to poke 15.7mm than what it is right now (stock 18")
My rears are going to poke 20 mm in the rear than what it is now (stock 18'')

Vehicle is Lowered on H&R springs

Wish me luck folks,,

Sam

front should be perfect for a lowered car

rear may poke slightly even lowered. on a non lowered car those would both poke.

send pics!!

I think the rear should look pretty good. I am et 48 on 9.5 and would, ideally, want a 7-10mm spacer for perfect flush fitment. I am running a wider tire and not lowered, so I'm not benefitting from that natural camber.

HUGE THANKS TO EVERYONE HELPED ME GET THIS DONE !!! MBWORLD forum members you are AWESOME!!!

As promised here are the pictures of the car,,

I feel like i did one minor mistake which was getting the 255 tire for a 9.5 inch wheel (rear wheels). I should have went with 265 because now this lip sticks out a bit too much.

Enjoy,, till tomorrow I am gonna take better pictures in daytime

I believe this is what he told me over the phone. I may be wrong but that's what I remember.
Only answering because multiple people have asked at this point.

So replica wheel = ball seat in this case. I always assume a replica wheel can go either way.
