C43 Coupe Vs Sedan Side Pillar
Considering C43 AMG as one option for DW next car.
When pulling out onto a highway & looking back to see if it's clear, she feels insecure in pulling out in her current S80 due to the size of the roof pillar on the drivers side decreasing her visibility.
Is the size of the side pillar the same in the sedan vs the coupe?

ive sat in both. the coupe is a coupe. the back slopes down and you ahve a smaller blind spot window meaning greater blind spot. its pretty good visabiltiy for a coupe but the sedan is better due to full window. i wouldnt have a problem driving either.

We test drove both. Vision out the back and toward the rear quarter is far better in the sedan. It was something that made my wife far more comfortable with the sedan than the coupe. So we went with the sedan. Go and test drive both and then you'll know which is best for you and your wife. Good luck with whatever you decide.
