lol, yea...that's me. that's my best valid time so far (less than -1% slope), it was actually going uphill 2.9%. I can't find an open flat road in my area. even with downhill -2.9% slope, my best time was 4.2s. that's why I am wondering if my RaceChip is doing anything...

I got rid of the vbox because I'm not planning on doing any more performance mods and didn't need a $400 doorstop 
I think the unit itself is great, and certainly seems to be the industry standard for performance testing.
Anyone been timing their 0 - 100? I want to see how my 9 seconds compares.

I believe I can get the car down to 3.5 or lower when I throw on my summer wheels and PS4s.
Not bad for a V6 convertible

So I finally got a chance to do 0-60 with and without RaceChip on the same road. And the results were basically the same using Dragy. I have emailed RaceChip to see what they can do to my GTS Black to at least show some performance improvement before asking for 3.8s.
First run: RaceChip in Race mode, car in Sport+, ESP off, torque brake technique to 2k rpm, 4.71s
Second run: RaceChip off, car in Sport+, ESP off, torque brake technique to 2k rpm, 4.72s
First run: RaceChip in Race mode, car in Sport+, ESP off, torque brake technique to 2k rpm, 4.71s

I also tried another road (a little bit of uphill) with ESP in Sport mode, same test conditions, time were basically the same, 5s vs 5.1s (5s was with RaceChip off!). With RaceChip Ultimate, you can turn the knob inside to increase the performance level...not sure if it applies to GTS Black or they only send you custom maps and upload them through the bluetooth app.

strange. will be interesting to hear what racechip says. even my GLC43 did 4.6 with a jb1. And that was just flooring it without torque braking. Also my car weighs about 600lbs heavier than yours.

I never have any error codes.
So RaceChip responded within 12hrs (good job!). They pushed an update to my RaceChip app, which will be uploaded to the unit when I connect it. Let’s see if this will make a difference.

So RaceChip pushed 3 custom files to my unit and said the last one has mega performance gain! But all 3 files did nothing to my car...0-60 still the same with and without RaceChip ~4.7s. Now they believe the unit might be faulty. So I am sending it back...not sure if they are just going to send me a new one or try to fix it.
Have to say their customer support is really good though. All the feedbacks were within 24 hours.

I get 4.2 on dragy with a bone stock car. And my car comes with the pano roof and 19" wheels. If you are getting 4.7 stock, the problem might be somewhere else.
