I called my dealer this morning and he had no idea what the 'night edition' was and told me there was only the night package

You can pick up a diamond grille for about ~$130, for that cost I'd probably pick one of those up and then send it off to a paint shop. Then you'll get exactly what you want, chrome completely deleted, etc. At least until these seem more obtainable..
i tried searching for the grill but the grills are all called beams. lol. so its really hard to figure out what is the right one even in epc. I even tried searching for my normal diamond grill and didnt have a good solution. I got tired and was tired so didnt put a ton of effort. i will look into it again once more vins are available and easily searchable.
Keep in mind that grille is for cars with distronic plus, which cannot have the illuminated star emblem.

As alexa said above, if you dont have any of the radar in the star or anything, id buy a new oem grill or take the one off your car and have it professionally painted how you want it.
Here is my 2018 with performance studio package. I kind of want to black the rest of the grill out now that I have seen it.
Nice car! I chose to black out the side wings on my grill with some 3M gloss black vinyl. I left the star (including the ring) as is. Couldn't get to the star since its inside the radar module so I just left the rest. You don't need too much gloss black and it's relatively easy to do.

Nice, I was going to suggest that. Do you have zoomed out pics of your grill?
But if you're gonna go for the 'murder'd out' look, you gotta go all in. Black it ALL out. The only thing that shouldn't be black is the lights. Do it. Do it. DO IT!
I took it to the shop that does all my work in NJ. They had it painted gloss black, high quality. Don't cheap out dude it's a benz after all.
Put it this way, if you drive on the highway you are going to get some rock chips over time. Happens to every car if you use it as a daily driver.

how much did it cost you to do the entire grille, I have the studio and night package on mine so a lot of the car is blacked out but still wanna do the ring around the star and the two lines inside the grille, and my badges painted. Wanted a rough idea what they charged you.
