W205 C43/450/400/300 Pre MY18 Carplay/Android Retro Fit Attempt

Mechanic told me, i need a file to encode this HU to assign carplay and android auto.
Thx

in another thread a guy said a retorfit shop swapped his head unit to the new part number and everything worked.
A new head unit and code may be all that is needed. it makes sense. someone else also said a retrofit is avaialble in february. I will wait until then to see if that is true. i think we should all be able to get carplay in 2018 if wanted one way or another.
do you offer a solution for carplay in 2015 w205 c63?
Andrew
EDIT
I found this 10.25" Android 10 8-Core Car GPS Stereo For Mercedes-Benz V-Class W447 2016-2018 | eBay For C-class W205 , I'm hoping to find something shipping from the US. Also do I need this too ? Wireless Carplay Android Auto Retrofit Kit NTG4.5 for Mercedes Benz Car Upgrade | eBay
Does anyone have any good places I can find one for the C-Class ?Thanks in advance.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
That being said, I thought aftermarket solutions like the android screen can enable both andriod auto and apple carplay.
Another more recent solution is a box that has android running inside and like a mini computer. I believe one of the sponsors (I believe their name was Mandel) on this forum sells it. Personally never used it so I am not sure how well it works or if it works though, please do some research before deciding : )
I have a W205 2017 C180 (WDDWF4AB4HR271057) NON-US Model.
I think I need to change the headhunt + USB port. can you help me with the correct headhunt part number that will work car?
Also, what is the difference between the 2 knobs? is it something related to the option of the car? My car comes with the (palm rest) or whatever they call it.
Thanks in advanced

If you want Carplay, I can recommend this set-up. I can also say that Infinite Autowerks does a great job with advice, guidance and remote unlocking and setting up of the new radio. The results afterwards are very good. The only down side being that you get a 7" image on your 8.4" screen and you lose the display of the Power & Torque gauge that you had in the Engine Data menu if your car is an AMG with the Command set-up.
What we originally had (no Carplay):
* Harman NTG5 HU radio; Manufactured 2016-09-30; A 205 900 3129 / A 205 901 1007 / A 205 902 5114 (all 3 part numbers are given on this unit)
* Cammand APS NTG5
* 8.4" Centre display
* USB hub (with SD card slot, but without mirroring symbol) located in arm rest storage compartment.
What we have now (with Carplay):
* Panasonic NTG5.2 US radio; Manufactured 2019-01-07; A 205 900 33 44 / A 205 901 18 17 / A 205 902 48 25 / A 205 902 12 19 / A 205 902 46 17 (all part numbers are given on this unit) (from Infinite Autowerks)
* I believe this is an Audio 20 unit
* 8.4" Centre display (original display retained)
* USB hub with SD card reader and with mirroring symbol (from Infinite Autowerks)
* 4 new Fakra connectors (from Infinite Autwerks) installed on the standard OEM harness. Two of these to enable connection to the Panasonic radio, and the other two for connecting to the new USB hub.
Only images particular to this retrofit are given below. Post Nos. 77, 94, 119 and 123 above provide additional information that is not repeated in this post.

Anti-Theft message displayed when first starting up with the new Panasonic radio installed. The radio requires to be unlocked after installation.
The new Panasonic radio was unlocked remotely by Infinite Autwerks.

AT THIS TIME
I am offering a solution here for oem carplay retrofit for 2015-2018 C/GLC class all types with Audio 20 with or without Burmeister. I have new or possibly used depending on availability. PM me with questions or inquiries. I can also add the amg logo etc to the radio if youd like and do other coding such as top speed start stop etc.
This is a very easy upgrade once you know what you are doing. It took me some time and extra money (buying unneeded parts etc) to figure all this out. i am going to give some this information and help away for free as a token of my appreciation for the help this forum has given me. If anyone needs coding help i have a star diag system and can do it for you. or if you want to buy the system i can also help remotely. PM me if you want to purchase an OEM retrofit! I am offering complete solutions.
If you feel inclined, you can always send some beer money to my paypal: dmartemail @ y a h oo.com
Thanks

So the final part numbers you will need are:
1. 2059004533, 2059005136, or 2059009037 which is the new Panasonic head unit. If you buy used, make sure its not stolen!!!, you will need to get an anti theft key. PM me to retrieve the key. It will cost some $$$ unfortunately as I do not have a free way of getting it.
2. , new card reader
3. wire harness.
Extra Fuse Part number in case you blow it when changing wiring. It is a 5 amp Multi fuse. Goes in slot two in passenger foot well fuse box.
Once you have all these parts the only tools you need are:
1. T20 torx screw driver.
2. Plastic Panel Removing Tools. (optional but recommended)
3. Mercedes Benz Radio Removal Keys or the like. (see picture to get card reader out).
4. small flat screw driver.
5. Paper clip (to depin connectors)
Steps.
1. Remove console. Many youtube videos online to do this in the w205 chassis.
3. Remove and replace card reader with keys.
4. Remove connectors from new wiring harness.
5. remove connector from original harnesss tape back. Leave purple wire attached.
6. attache new connectors to original installed harness.
7. Code with MB Star diag system.
8. enjoy.
i followed all steps i did all but still cannot lunch the carplay in HU , carplay activated in hu but when plug the usb nothing happen
if you can sir do it remote please contact me with your whatsapp , thanks
