Rattling in the dash

2017 C43 AMG Sedan

Rattling in the dash

Hey all, just recently Ive noticed a rattling sound coming from the front dash. Im going to bring my car in as soon as I can but does anyone know whats causing this? I have read about it a little bit from past posts but does anyone know what I should tell the dealership when I bring it in. Thanks in advance

From reading around here for a while, it can be many things:

hVAC vents rattle
glove box rattles
infotainment rattles
center console rattles
sunglass holder rattle

Rattle behind dash

I have a rattling noise behind my dash as well on my e43. Seems to be coming from somewhere behind/underneath the dash speaker

Yes it is pretty common, if you are still under warranty take it to the workshop if you aren't, I think there is a WIS document that tells you how to remove it and fix it.
