Eurocharge Stage 1 Version 3
Hello MBWorld,
Eurocharge has been working on our cars platform for a while now and spent countless time on R & D and have developed a new tune for our cars. I was a lucky one who became part of the testing circle to have this tune on their 43. Comparing this tune (V3) to V2 i must say the torque is considerably noticed throughout the power band. Now, this is saying a lot because going from V1 and then V2 and then V3 i have felt more and more power increase with each and every new tune. Going from V2 to V3 the car felt as if i am going from stock to a V1 tune. The power delivery is just remarkable with this new tune, first gear and second gear being in manual and sports + i can almost guarantee you will not shift properly due to how fast the rpms move. From my perspective, i do not believe their is a tune better out their for these cars. If you guys have any questions you can ask if on here or feel free to pm me.
I especially would like to give a shout out to Eurocharged Canada and Slav over their. Such a great and knowledgeable person and his communication and service is top notch! You guys will not be disappointed if you go this route for your tune if you are on the fence on which route to go. I just wanted to share my experience and put the word out there and i believe this tune should be out for release, but once again i will let Eurocharge speak for that themselves. Cheers!

How munch more psi can the motor take with every version of the tune before the engine goes boom!? What’s the difference in v2 boost psi vs v3 psi.. I’m guessing the AFR’s must be dangerously close to maxed out for the engine

To your first question, i do not know. I am not a tech for Mercedes. AFR is not dangerously close to maxed out as i am sure Eurocharge would not sell a product of such which can cause extensive damage to a motor. Mind you, they offer a warranty on their tunes. There is more to the tuning that just the psi...If i am not mistaken i believe currently it is at 17psi ( i would have to double check).

You should ask that to your pal's at AMR pushing 20 PSI on stage 2 tunes and making less power.

But having down pipes lowers the afr’s so you can run more boost..on stock downpipes it begging for trouble..
back pressure and high boost = BOOM
back pressure and high boost = BOOM

DameMD. No downpipes as of yet. Ill either go with Weistec or Mikes BUT first need to hear back from my guy Slav at EC Canada before purchasing them. Once i see the gains i like ill order them.
