Weird smell after driving in sport plus

I've got about 1200 miles on the car, whenever im done driving in sport plus, i get a weird burning plastic/rubber smell. I'm pretty sure its not the tires or brakes, anyone else get this? At first i assumed it was the brakes, breaking in but it smells too plasticy to be the brakes

Does it smell kind of musky and like an old heater that hasn’t been ran for awhile kicking on?

That's normal. Mine had it as well. It goes away with time. Just some residual plastic melting.

Mine also has this smell after 1 year of use. I only smell it when the sunroof is open. I've take the car to the dealer twice on the issue. The first time they said "engine burn-in" and that it should go away. Took it in again this week and they say they can't duplicate (read: they didn't try because it shows up within 5 minutes of driving), but they've heard the glue used in the carpets has been known to smell once heated and that they'd need to rip it up and replace it. I don't buy this as the smell is not coming from the carpet, but from the engine and is only noticeable when you let the air outside come in. Frustrating.

Exactly. It comes in when you have ventilation turned on with air blower. But for me this only happens, when I am being an absolute ***** with the car. Like when I am changing gears every 10 seconds.
