C43 Lease Rate
Hello, I just signed a lease for a new 2018 C43 last week (and this weekend I heard the 2019 model is coming out...), The one I got was stickered for $63,995, with the options of:
Panaroma roof $1000
AMG Night Package $300
LED Headlamps $850
LED Logo Projector $200
Black Leather seats $1620
Power rear sunshade $440
miltimedia package $2200
Burmester Sound $850
AMG Performance Exhaust $1250
In total of $63,955. I signed a 36 months lease, w/10,000 miles per year, I put $12,000 down (I sold my old car), each month is $499+tax(8%)+pre-paid maintenance(around $50) = $590.
I knew it wasn't a decent deal, but I am wondering did I get ripped off?
How good could it be?
Thanks in advance.

There is no way to tell "where you went wrong" unless you include the MF, RV, selling price of the car, cap cost, etc etc.
But to put into perspective, the deal I got, which is just average in my opinion, is 36m/15k for a 62k sticker car and I'm paying $650 including maintenance. Oh, also I only paid first month and some fees so no cap cost reduction or money down.

The RV is spot on, Mf looks a bit high at .0014 instead of .00121 but look at the sales price for the car - $62,245 from the MSRP you stated which is less than a 3% discount - granted that includes their inflated ACQ fee and the included maintenace (which both were smart to residualize) but still even not including that - less than 8% off.
You put 10k down on this car (your trade in) so if you factor that into your montly payment really youre paying $864/month.

$2000 more. But to me it was acceptable since I am an international student, I am not even a citizen. This dealer is the only dealer that's willing
to lease me the car. Been to another dealer, it quoted me $758 before maintenance for 36 months, with $12k down and sticker price was just $60K,
Living in south CA, this is already the best deal I could get from 6 different dealers.

My car was $71K got it down to $63K. No money down, but they marked up the money factor like CRAZY like .00240. I called them out on it but wouldn’t budge because I was tier 3 credit even though I had a 740 credit score. Said it was because I didn’t have a long enough credit history with homes and auto (I’m 24) even though I had 5 years history with credit cards. I think we both got ripped off. It’s okay. This was my first time negotiating a build car. I definitely know what to do next time. We learn from experience. Enjoy the car!
PS maybe if you didnt put money down it would’ve been a great deal.

I personally chose to put $12K down, not requested by the dealer, I am just a student, and that's the money I am planning to spend on my new car, since I don't have other loans or investments,
having $12k more in my account doesn't help with anything, so I just put it down.
And for the selling price, I live in San Diego county, CA, I got a quote from MB of SD of $499 per month for a $60k C43, I forwarded that quote to all MB dealers nearby, and only this dealer replied
me and was willing to match the rate for a $64k C43, and delivered it from MB of San Francisco, so I thought it was a fine deal so I signed the lease.
For some reason the C43 price in SD county seems so high, I even got a quote for $758/month for a $61K C43 with $12K down,
So there might be some geographic issue, and as I said in a previous response, I knew that I lost $1.5K

So let me ask you this...what happens to the $12k down if the car gets totaled? If you have an answer to this question...congrats you have too much money laying around.
