My first tune that did not go kaput/ Updates on ASR Module
Installed my JB1 today, so just sharing my initial impressions. Considering I have had full tunes before, I was not wowed but the car feels really good, I can definitely feel the kick. Was told my a couple of friends that the ECU needs time to adjust to piggy backs and it will take a couple of days to show its true colors. So I will wait. But all this is just using the JB1 maps, going to start working on my Map 6 soon.
Also I installed my ASR module for the exhaust flaps in the weekend. This little thing is pretty darn sweet, starup noise is waaay louder and sustains throughout for 1 minute. Also way more rumble. Low RPM exhaust tone is significantly louder. High RPM loudness is the same. But upshift bangs are more violent. Overall totally worth it for me.
Was a good week overall with mods for me, haha. First time I did something with this car without having to pull over to the side of the road with the emergency on. Fingers crossed!
PS: I have all the powertrain updates for our car installed. ECU, Tranny and Fuel Pump.
Just a background for better understanding (correct me if I am wrong):
- Pre Boost is the actual boost value.
- Target is the requested boost
- ECU PSI is the boost seen by the ECU
- Avg Ign shows the timing
Woot! Hooked mine up yesterday too. Drove about a half hour last night and really notice the difference. Filled a blended tank of 4.7g E85 and the rest 91 and running map2. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything - what engine type do you have selected in the app? I want to make sure I'm using the correct one.

Munis, you and I are going to have a similar weekend. I installed my ASR RX1 last night, but I have yet to hear the difference it has made, as my ECU is with Eurocharged Canada getting flashed with their v3.0 tune. The ECU is due back today; I can't wait for the working day to be over

Both my previous tunes gave me problem because of being undeveloped. One tuner knew what they are doing though, they just fixed the bug after I left. Bad luck there. But JB1 is overall the safest bet. That is why I went this route.

installed my JB1 the past weekend as well but the weather here prevented me from really testing it. Look forward to see what map6 can do. Also, regarding the ASR module, which version is the correct one for the sedan with PE ?
