OEM Pirelli's Blown 2000km In
As title states, my 2 week old C43 with OEM Pirelli P-Zeros had the front driver's blow a sidewall after positively not hitting a curb or pothole.
Made it to a neighbouring dealership who says they can't help nor the one where I bought my car.
I believe a combination of cold weather and slightly bumpy roads may have caused this. Temp was around 7*C.
Is there some sort of warranty I can get on it? Any advice?

Unless you bought tire and wheel coverage, I’m pretty sure you’re SoL. My cousin is the finance manager at my local Benz dealer, I’ll ask him when I see him tomorrow, but I’m pretty sure you’d be hard pressed to prove it was due to a tire defect opposed to you hitting a pothole

If the other tires were literally ANY worse condition, I would have swapped out the whole set for some real tires.

I have the wheel and tire warranty thankfully. it's WORTH it. I've gone through 5 tires now after about 4000 miles. The OEM tires are awful, if you don't want to deal with the hassle, get the warranty. If you want a more expensive, but better ride/speed/literally everything - get Michelin's.

MB is notorious for soft wheels and crappy OEM tires. Lawsuits have come and gone regarding the issue.

Is it still possible to get that warranty even though I turned it down upon signing? If so, I may get the tire warranty until I feel the tires start to go bald which I will then swap the whole wheel out for Vossens and Michelins.
