No, you do not have to order Multi-media to be able to order the Digital Instrument cluster, I have it as a standalone option, option 464 for $750. I got the $200 pre-wire for the new MB SD card Nav instead of the Multimedia Nav. The pre-wire option 355 is $200 but don't forget to figure into the deal the SD card that your dealer needs to give you is $650 or whatever kind of deal you make. So the total Nav this way is $850 retail instead of almost 3 grand. As for the digital dash there is all sorts of configuration you can do to personalize it the way you want, move things around, chose what is displayed and how etc.

First off congrats, it looks great! Since the introduction of MBUX everyones been too busy focusing on how great it is (and rightfully so) but the voice commands and assistant in the face-lifted C43 has barely been discussed on here. I too am going from a 328 X-drive to waiting for my C43 coupe to arrive in March so its great to hear you say the voice commands are intuitive and actually work. Does it work similar to MBUX, in that you call out "hello Mercedes" followed by a command? Or how does it work exactly??
Back to CarPlay real quick- If you hold the merc voice command button, and have CarPlay or android auto, it will activate their respective assistant. Those systems are bitter sweet though. You can’t go to media player for your phone if you are using CarPlay. It tells you to go into CarPlay to listen. might be the same way with phone calls too. If you have your phone connected but not utilizing CarPlay, then it works within the merc system for media playing and phone calls.
I am still looking for a comprehensive guide for voice commands. In the meantime, I will continue asking it random things and if something happens, I will be pleasantly surprised or continue to push a button a few inches away to do the same thing.

I do have the MB SD card nav in mine and when I click the little speech button (toggle or whatever you call it) there is a list of possible commands that do come up on the screen if you're looking at it. I have played around and it's vocabulary is larger than that list from what I found. The list is also somewhat based on where you are, ie if you're in Media it's different than in Nav, but I can be on Phone and tell it to Navigate to xxxxxxx or things like that. It's going to take some playing around with but it is fairly intuitive. You do not say "hello Mercedes" though, you just tell it commands.

Played with it today, it understands s lot of things. "Seat heat passenger on" turns it on, even can do level 1 etc. "Temperature passenger 73" raises the temp. Seems like you need to start of with the function, temp, seat heat, radio etc and follow with what you want to happen.

Anyone switching or planning on switching out their key components to the AMG ones? I bit the bullet with a Chinese "OEM" order. Came out to about 25 bucks for both the front and the back. Problem with the back is its polished like the E series versus ours is (or mine is...) matte.
I also thought about a metal decal sticker for the back to keep the matte, but it would not be flush.

That is pretty nice looking. My key for my 2019 C43 is sort of a brushed nickel finish, I guess you could call it matt but those sort of descriptions are all over the place. Mine has a MB star where your's has the round black button. My previous GLA45 had AMG keys but not the C43. I ran across a place in Germany that shows to have them www.kunzzmann.de , only has the round AMG logo on the back and the front is not shown, only 50 Eu but I don't know any more details. Say OEM MB part. Website doesn't show they ship to the US though.
Where did you find this Chinese part?

I saw the site you mention, but you are correct, I did not see USA as a shipping option. I was reading another sub forum and the E63 key is 200 and some for the amg stuff. Not ready for that type of commitment. Haha

as a factory option you can choose, to be white with matte chrome, or glossy black with glossy chrome etc...

I just found out that the arrival of my car has been pushed back yet again, ugh. I was expecting it to arrive on the 22nd, now I've been told it'll be here on the 28th...of which month is anyone's guess.

It finally happened I picked her up this morning before the snow arrives. Very happy with how it came out. For those still waiting it is definitely worth the wait!

Mine is on rail and is going to be here on the 22nd. I almost cancelled and got something else because I returned my 17 C43 on Dec 31st.

Sidenote: his MY19 which he's had on order since the order banks opened is STILL AT THE FACTORY! With NO ETA! Unreal...we're starting to think something is seriously wrong with his vehicle. MBUSA appears to be in a world of hurt right now with the C43s coming out of Vance...

There are plenty of 2019 C43s sitting on dealer lots now so I'm guessing there's an issue afflicting the early build cars as they seem to be the cars that are seeing the serious delay times reaching dealers. I know I've had my car on order since mid-May and I'm still waiting.

Hi all - new to the MB world and MB in general. My last 6 vehicles were BMW and I'm making the switch! Currently working with my local dealer on a new C43 build and want to solicit advice from the experts on locking in your residual value during the build/production process. Current projections are having the build order placed this week with an end of March to mid April delivery. Sounds like that may get pushed back a little based on what I'm reading in this thread; nonetheless, how does locking in RV work within a build? Thanks in advance!

Glad you are all enjoying your C43s.
Couple questions for you all:
1. What tires are people getting on their 18s or 19s?
2. Those who have had a C43 before, any difference on the ride ?
Mine is nearing the end of its lease and while I like it , I hate the ride. I attribute this to the Continentals and the 19s, and crappy roads of course. My c43 on the 18 winters, non runflat, is quite decent. I love the new 19" wheel but don't want the super stiff ride.
Am leaning towards getting another one, always liked the interior on my C400 and C43, if I can get a better ride, which critics and mags have all said is improved, then I may get another one. The interior is a great place to be as a daily driver.

I have 2019 with 19” wheels. I immediately put on continental extreme contacts - non run flat - due to snow in Chicago. I have to say, I have not found my ride to be harsh at all. It’s actually quite comfy. Ask me in May when I put those run flats back on.

Thank you. Sounds like MB works differently than BMW. BMW publishes monthly RV and MF programming vs. quarterly. My concern was around locking into the 59% RV, starting my build, and then come March or April...the programming changes to say 62% RV. I did some historical research and it looked like RVs were upwards of 63% last Spring, which is when I'd be taking delivery.
