C43 vs C300 Lease
Hi all,
I am looking for some help in looking at the different lease rates between the C43 and C300.
I am undecided as I like the great drive of the C43 and the sound that comes with the car but at the same time, I am asking myself the question if it is truly worth it and part of that is figuring out the difference between the lease factors among the C43 and C300.
I was at a dealer going over the numbers and they said that the money factor with perfect credit for the C300 was .00060 and for the C43 it was .00090, thus a higher money factor. The quoted residuals for both cars were 58%. They estimated that the monthly lease difference would be about $150 or so.
Does the above MF and residual sound about right?
Another thing that I am considering is that the 2019 C-Class will have that refresh and thus I am debating waiting for the 2019 models or considering if I should go for the 2018 model if they offer me a very good deal to get those cars off the lot before the 2019 models come in.
I really don't want to pay over $650 a month. My goal is no money down/no cap cost reduction although I would be fine with MSD's if it pushes the money factor down more.
Thank you!

I think it's totally worth it. I could never go back to a 4 banger after having the c43 for a year. If you get the c43 make sure to get the performance exhaust. Lot's of regret from folks that didn't. As far as money factor and residual check on the edmunds lease forum. they will give you the latest numbers https://forums.edmunds.com/discussio...and-prices/p30

MF WILL go up on the 2019 models. I would get a lower optioned C43 over a high optioned C300. Get the 2018 model before inventory gets low and you run out of options. If you by the C300 you will get frustrated every time you try to pass someone and regret your purchase. Don't forget the performance exhaust, that was a must for me.
Keep in mind that your insurance will also go up some bc insurance companies bc the car is listed as an AMG.

Thank you everyone for your comments.
Threefirs, thanks for the kind comments. I can definitely afford it, it's just whether I think it's worth it. I have driven both cars and do think the drive is incredible in the C43 but I drive a very short distance to work and thus I am just trying to figure out if it is worth it for the weekends/road trips etc.
Angelas 111, thank you for your comments, it is very helpful. I haven't negotiated that much yet as I am still debating on the 2018 vs. 2019 models, if I can get a great deal on a 2018, I might do that.
