Latest Map/Navigation Updates?
I leased my 2017 C43 in NOV 2016, and both the dealer and MBUSA told me there's no map updates available for my car. It's running V8.0. They said "on your particular vehicle, there's no updates".

I have checked the C300 forum and found the V11.1 was the latest.

Were you guys able to update your navigation?

there is a mercedes program you can download to update the map. its called mercedes benz download manager.

yes for garmin. command is through dealer. sorry go to a different dealer then.

I asked my dealer to update and mentioned V11 was the latest. They did it without any issue. Takes a while for them to actually perform the update. Think it was a couple of hours.

Absolutely not. The dealer wouldn't be able to charge second hand customers $349 for an update if they did!

I am pretty sure that on the 2019s you can update through an LTE connection or download the file and upload it to the system. This is on the 2019s only.

Yep, major improvement for 2019. I've updated mine three times already. Download to a USB stick is the best way. You can also select one zone (out of eight for North America) for OTA updates, but it can take months for the mother ship to push it to your car over LTE. On the other hand, you can download all eight, with new street name pronunciation files and POIs in minutes to hours, depending on your internet speed, and update COMAND in about 1/2 hour. It's one Mercedes Me Portal feature that works amazingly well.
