I ordered a Mars Performance Facelift/ C63 style grille and it did come directly from China. If you have a front camera, it will throw off your camera angle since they did not model the housing correctly. It was a huge waste of money since I could not return it. I wouldn't recommend buying from them either.

i may be biased, i like the FL grill, but the diamond grill although common now, is really a great grill with the depth and 3d effect it provides. for me the pano grill looks out of place. im between the FL amg grill and the diamond grill i have. maybe ill have both and put one on in summer and one for winter. lol

Can you let me know how you get the star off/out? Been trying to get it out of the facelift grille, and don’t want to force it. Is it just a matter or turning it clockwise/counter ?

Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster. '18 C43 AMG Sedan owner and in the process of doing a little modding myself.
Just wanted to comment on the grills. First off great pictures and thank you so much for sharing. I have went back and forth so much on the grill and for a while and was settled on the gloss black panamerica but I've seen this on a C43 in person and think that the facelift and diamond style grills look better. I think it's because of the vertical stripes..those look better on the larger fender bigger models. The more I think about it the more I'm sure that is the idea behind how it was designed as well. Horizontal type grills suit our cars more...a little smaller, more finesse sleek etc. Just my .02. I am going to wrap the chrome middle piece on my diamond grill with gloss black and smoke the diamonds to make my own custom night version.

Hi folks, first time post, picking up my pre-facelift c43 wagon tomorrow.
Is the facelift C43 grill a direct fit on a pre-facelift car? I’m not a big fan of the diamond grill personally so looking to change it soon.
cheers.

How/what exactly is different in the fittment is beyond me, but apparently yes, a facelift grille will not fit a pre-facelift, and vice versa.

Hey, so apparently yes it is different. I purchased a replacement grille while my '19 was on order, only to be told 1 day after receiving it that the company now had replacement '19+ grilles for sale. Long story short, I have a brand new pre facelift grille (vertical bars like the newer c63 models) still in it's box in my shed if ever you are interested

Hi folks, another question about changing to the facelift C43 grill....
I've sourced a genuine facelift grill and a genuine star (non-distronic). The does the star need an additional "holder"? It seems as though it should twist straight on although its pretty tight.
I assume the bigger lugs on the back of the grill behind the star are for mounting of the distronic gubbins if you've got them?
Cheers
