Painted Calipers Suggestions?
I am looking to get my calipers painted after I receive my car. Anyone have any good suggestions on any colors? Or any tips for getting them painted(Not done by myself, I will ask the dealership for a good bodyshop).

A lot of people like red, yellow or blue calipers because they stand out.
Personally, I prefer the monochromatic look - silver calipers, especially on a dark colored car.

I just thought it would have been an obvious feature to have for the C43 having them coloured red/yellow esp in the coupe as it stands out. I would say more owners would rather have that than the conservative silver.

I think silver is really classy though. I recently hand washed my car, wheels and all, and it looked great. As long as you can keep it clean it shines almost white!

I have a white coupe. I would have loved my calipers to have been red or yellow. Mine are silver as well, but I find them rather plain, they dont stand out as much imo.

I can understand how it wouldn't match your car then. It would look better on darker colour cars like my selenite grey. For a white car, I would definitely change it!

Because the different caliper color denote the different AMG models, C43 is silver, C63 is a darker silver and C63S is Rosso Corso red, that Burnt orange metallic color is the Carbon Ceramic available on the AMG GT for $20k upcharge.

I agree they should offer colored brake calipers as an option- every super car has colored brake calipers, Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo even BMW is using a light blue on the M series.

I would do mine either Ferrari Red or the Fire mist orange.

I feel like everyone has red calipers. The ZR1 blue caliper with “AMG” in white lettering would be my pick. Here is a grey ZR1 for comparison.

Quicker, cheaper, and easier than powder coating too. This is a DIY project if you are savvy enough or have enough spare time.

I think both black and red contrast nicely with a white car. For a C43 I might suggest black since it would complement the black chrome trim.

Roughly how much is powder coating and how long would it take?

Leaning towards RED, just because I would love that racing red look. I do like your BLACK suggestion a lot too. Spoiler, side skirts and roof is all glossy BLACK.

I got a quote for $75 per caliper for powder coating...however that does not include time to remove the calipers and ship them. 2 week turnaround is what I was told. I get that powder coating is the way to go, but I know an auto body shop about 40 min north of where I live that did the job in 2 days in a Ferrari red for a little more and used a high-heat resistant paint. They’ve done a lot of work for me in the past and I trust them...especially since they do a lot of work on rare antique autos. That said, if the paint doesn’t last I will certainly go for poweder coating but will wait for winter to put the car out of commission for that long. Only my $.02

P.S. I have a selenite gray 43 that I have spent time and money going full carbon fiber trim on. The red is gorgeous with this color car. Carbon pieces from RW Carbon (front lip) & Mode Carbon rear diffuser & spoiler.

Actually I have the same question, going to paint them but cannot choose the color. Leaning towards the gold ones that comes with the ceramic brakes usually, but for any decent suggestion would be appreciated.

White car, go with Black or Red. You cant go too wrong with this.

Everybody does red, it’s become almost comical to see them on run of the mill cars, and in my opinion has taken the cachet out of red. I had a white bmw and went with a copper colour and it looked very distinctive. I would go with something in that colour range of gold etc rather than simple red. Add another $0.02 to the pot.

Are painted calipers still a thing?
Best ones I've seen are the Porsche neon green and yellow.

I would avoid Red...
