In in any event, take it to the dealer and call MB North America and tell them if it’s not fixed you’ll sue them on lemon law, trust me it will get fixed. MB North America also sent me a $250 voucher.

I had this exact problem when I got my car. I took the car home and the HP “gauge” said it was making at most 227hp. The dealer had the car back from me one day later and they discovered that the one of the two hoses coming into the Y clamp in the intake from the Turbos was just dangling there and not connected. The fact that this is happening from the factory, repreatedly, is appalling. Honestly, you just don’t hear about these quality lapses on BMW and Porsche.

Dealer is being difficult, which I'm not surprised about.
Here is another video, rolling 1st gear start. Never gets full power in the first 3 gears but when it shifted to 4th all of a sudden it surged to full power. Was weird it almost felt like it hesitated on the 4th gear shift and then surged to full power. I was full pedal "clicked" down to the floor.

FYI, here are 2 videos that show a C43's HP & ft. lb. torque screens on a race track (you'll need to watch them via YouTube, at a large size and high resolution, to be able to read the values):
Looking at these (frame by frame), I only found 1 spot where the HP was shown as 362 HP and 1 spot where the torque was shown as 384 ft. lb. and I also see a _lot_ of variability, based upon throttle position vs RPM. I guess that's what happens when the ECU is balancing (what I'd guess is) 20+ sensor inputs.
FYI, the C43 playlist is at:

Thanks for the vids. Since the track is so short you don't really get long full throttle pulls but my car never goes beyond 330 ft/lbs or over 275 hp doing 1-4 full throttle pulls. Several times the video shows beyond 350 ft/lbs and definately beyond 300 hp.
I did some more playing around today, and we did a 0-60 pull and it came in at 6.9 seconds just using a smartphone stopwatch. I get it handheld stopwatch wound't be super accurate but I sure we weren't inaccurate by 2 seconds
Also, when holding full throttle the boost gauge goes to zero right around 5800 rpms.
Anyways, car goes into dealer in a few weeks. Should be interesting what they say when they actually plug it in.

So the car went for it's service and to take a look at the power issue a few weeks ago. They weren't able to conclude on the power issue do it's back again today for another look.
Now of course they need the car for a few days. Will be interesting to see what comes of this.

I joked at the dealership that maybe we should just switch the badge to a C300...........
But the car is back now and we're back to full POWAH!!!!
The replaced the left muffler/exhaust value which was seized and now I get full power up top and better response mid-range as well. And of course the gauges now show full power correctly.
