I definitely agree! With launch control the 43 is hitting 60 in 3.3, the 63 can only manage 3.9 because of traction issues.

I remember reading back in the day GM dummied down HP numbers and performance on their cars, so nothing was more powerful or faster on paper than the corvette. Obviously people figured out a few ways to modify cars like the 1973 455 trans am, with some simple timing advance, blocking of the EGR valve and bigger carb jets, it would be faster than a Vette.

It would be awesome to see a all wheel drive C63 S

What launch control on the C43? Increasing rev limiter and calling it launch control is like me putting a melon sized motor in the trunk of my car and calling it a hybrid.

All wheel drive C63s is called the E63s. What you might wish for is a e63s coupe. Which I think would completely canilablize C63s coupe sales.

This is the achilles heel of the C43 for me, first gear boost cut is ridiculous. It feels like all the boost is being diverted on a hard launch from a stop. Then the car makes up for it once second gear is achieved and I doubt this is turbo lag as I can feel the boost build and snails spooling up- just not getting to the intake somehow. Wish they left off all of the electronic safe guards crap and traction control. I bet this thing would launch like a bear on fire.

I never got tire spin off of a start from stop launch and I dont brake boost because I feel it bad for the tranny if done too many times. But natural tire spin of the line on this car would greatly enhance 0-60, my point is I dont think its turbo lag holding it back, its all of the silly traction control and other things holding it back, besides MB does not want this car to be faster than the C63, so I bet they dial it down in first gear. Why buy a 63 if the 43 is faster, duh

And somebody should post a vid on how to remove the MB wire harness clips for the piggy install.
All ECU tuned cars for the C43 which claims to have a 3.3 to 3.4 0-60mph time are stage 2 cars combined with 18" forged rims (Also non lowered, so no camber issues). The tuners can have sales pitch as much as they want but the JB4 is the fastest stage 1 tune for the C43 platform weather permitting. Tell you what, I will try the 0-60 mph run again next week with a custom map. Wait for my results till then.

You are incorrect my friend the E63 is a bigger, heavier car than the C63- I have driven both E series and C series sedans and there is a notable size difference.

It has a 100hp more on the top which takes of the additional weight.

Someone is already doing it. But frigging guy does not share anything. So you have to play around with it yourself.

Berger won't ship or allow pickup for any residents in CA. Anyone know how to get around this?

Does anyone know if the JB4 connected via the ODB2 port all the time?

You can have it shipped to someone that lives outside of Cali, and then have that person ship it to you. Or you can purchase it through one of the authorized re-sellers, as most will ship to Cali addresses. I can PM you a couple of suggestions if you so desire, but I won't post them openly, as they are not vendors on this forum.

I believe that the JB for the C450/C43 requires the unit to be plugged into the OBD port for power? Not sure on that, or if there is a separate power source that isn't shown in the installation instructions. To get the most accurate logging it will need to be plugged in to the OBD port, even if that isn't it's power source.

SICKOMODE!

I am also wondering if the JB4 can be used in addition to my stage 1 AMR tune.

With timing like this, I would have more fun with the car than I did with my MY2018 Huracan I just rented over the weekend!

It is possible to stack tunes. But I do not see the need for that.

Everyone has started from knowing very little to begin with.

1/4 mile, JB4 updated firmware

Map7, K&N drop ins, e30. Ambient temp was 45F. Bogged down 1st to 2nd and 0-60 was 3.82. I will get a better launch since this is the first time I did a standing quarter. Usually roll race since all my buddies are RWD. Of course done in Mexico 🤫
