Very poor AM radio reception
Call me old fashion....I do listen to a lot of AM radio in my traveling for work. My new 2018 C43 AMG convertible gets horrible AM reception in many areas of the city and surrounding area. It is garbled and sounds like stuttering. The dealership knows about it. We took out a 2019 convertible and another 2018 convertible to see if they did the same thing. The 2019 did not and the 2018 C63 convertible did the exact same thing that my convertible does. So they said they would ask "tech" about it....the local dealership service manager knew nothing. To me, being only a novice, it seems like it might need a signal booster but I find nothing on line for the Mercedes. I have a feeling that the "tech" is going to say it is a 2018 peculiarity and there is nothing that can be done. Anyone have an idea what I should do?
