I just received my set in the mail. All I can say is wow! The welds and quality are top notch. The wall thickness is outstanding. Thanks Shardul for everything.

I finally got around and installed the dp’s. Thanks again Shardul for the set! The dp’s made my exhaust so loud and the stock amg mufflers made the exhaust notes to raspy. Sounded like a civic. To address the raspiness, I added an xpipe resonator. My original setup had a non resonator xpipe. That really squelched the high pitch tones but did muddled the pops at low rpms. I was not overall satisfied. In terms of power, the gains were immediate with boost response, came much faster. Top end pulls are amazing. I am happy!! I have no plans to dyno the car as I don’t have baseline numbers. I do have the RV3.1 tune from AMR and they did take care of the O2 sensor CEL.
In terms of the mufflers, the stock ones sound good if you plan on keeping your stock catted dp’s in. Being a 450, the vehicle did not come with the PE version however I did modify my exhaust with an xpipe and making it a dual exhaust. I also realized the stock mufflers are stamped with AMG. (I am selling them soon) I was on a hunt to change the stock mufflers and found a set of 2015 e63s mufflers for cheap! This time I wanted to do this right with the exhaust and removed the stock 450 mufflers first and replaced them with the e63s mufflers, leaving the xpipe resonator in place. It was significantly louder but omg, it was deeper too with good notes. The v6 has an inherent note and adding these mufflers will not make our cars sound like a v8 amg. Then I requested them to remove the xpipe resonator and reinstall the non resonator xpipe and All in all, I am very happy with the exhaust. Deep louder tones and none of the raspiness and embarrassment!.
