Slow climate Control

When I turn on my car after it sits for a while and I turn up the fan speed or change the zone I get a slow delayed response. It's slow to react. I have to wait 30 seconds before the fan starts blowing and when it does it blows in the wrong zone and then will blow in the correct zone after. I never had any issues with this in any other luxury vehicle.

Anyone else having issues with this? How to fix this?

Same problem here, but sadly no answers, only the same question. While it is annoying, I can live with it, because eventually it does produce what I want it to.

It is the same way in my car. I do not think it is a problem. It was a design feature. It waits for the engine temp to reach a level until it turns itself on. I am assuming you are facing cold weather now.

Muni is right. MB included this feature so you don’t get blasted by cold air when you turn your car on in the morning. The air is diverted until it reaches temperature.

I asked my technician about this and I was informed that it is the way it was built.

It's the same way on my BMW. When I start the car in the cold, the air only starts blowing on me at full speed once the engine has reached temperature.
