10 Things I love about my C43.
I thought I would set up a bragging thread just for us C43 owners, but also curious to know what others views as their 5 things they love about their C43.
1. PE
2. Panoramic Sunroof
3. Shape of the Coupe coupled with ceramic coat making the car easier to clean.
4. Interior of the car overall coupled with a great after market Dash cam.
5. The stuck on tablet - probably controversial as I know a lot hate it, but I love being able to watch music videos while cruising around.
6. Electronic boot
7. Car free access to the car
8. HUD
9. Lights
10. Storage areas in the front section
As I am still running in my car, I havent got to fully appreciate the speed and PE in sports mode + of the car. But I am looking forward to that gift.

5 things I hate about my C43:
1. My dash rattles constantly
2. The runflat tires
3. All AMG line 2019 C300s will have our grill and wheels
4. The transmission stutters at low speed
5. Too easy to bend rims
Bonus: my keyless entry doesn’t work and the dealership has attempted to fix it twice.

I opted for the carbon fiber interior so it gives it a great luxurious yet sporty feel in the coupe version.

True. Its the AMG aspect of this car that makes it great and what it is. In Australia there is no C63 just C63s which is about $60k more than the C43 so it wasnt a hard choice to make for me.

Would love for you to expand on your points what you love. I have yet to be able to appreciate the speed of this car as I am still breaking it in, grandma style. lol

This car handles amazing in the canyons ( although im still on the pirelli runflats) I can only imagine how much better it would handle with better tires.
I've noticed the transmission shift very aggressively only when i brake-boost launch the car at 2krpm in sports+ (Throws you back each shift till 100mph+)
The reason I like the C43 a lot is because mercedes wasn't lazy with it.
We got a very fast transmission, Big 14.2 front rotor 4 piston brakes, twin turbo v6, AWD with, i believe the perfect split 69 rear/31front and its still decently light for an AWD car. sleek, nimble, and luxurious.
They tried to compete with the Bmw 340i and S4 and I believe the C43 demolishes them in most aspects. Also, the tuning capabilities puts this car in the mid 3 second range 0-60mph and mid 11's in the 1/4 is very impressive. Also I've seen this car hit 174mph in 7th gear (not mine) but on youtube. I wonder how much more it can go. I believe transmission would allow 180-195mph, couldn't calculate the gear ratios accurately.

Are you planing on getting the car tuned? If so when? If not why not?

Oh definitely getting tuned, I'm waiting before i get it tuned.
For a couple reasons.
1. I Want to see peoples long-term reliability with the tunes; Transmission/engine reliability etc..
2. I don't want to get bored of the car yet, So I'll hold off a little on tuning it until i feel its needed (even though i want it asap)

Next week marks 6 months into my lease. Like our friend here who is thrilled with his C43, I too am a genuinely happier person. Sounds ridiculous, and my wife constantly rolls her eyes when I talk about it (all the time), but it’s true.
On my third day, with 70mi on the car, I got invited to a mountain run with my neighbors and a couple of their friends (Porsche’s and Ferrari’s). Naturally, I was the caboose but the car held its own and I have been hooked since. I have gone on another mountain run with friends, and will be going ‘the long way’ to Asheville, NC for a work trip soon.
This car handles the track as well as I could have imagined. I have done SCCA Track Night in America twice, running with the intermediate group. Once at Atlanta Motorsports Park and another at Road Atlanta. (I can pm my best lap recordings with Harry’s laptimer data if you care to watch. And yes I buy track insurance.) Am I keeping up with the Caymans and Z06’s out there? No, but this is a fatass sedan that can drop a kid off at elementary school in C mode right before being put into S+ to growl around a track.
I have become a much better driver. I actually care about driving. I go out of my way to run errands for which I never would have otherwise volunteered. We attend car events around town and the whole family is more into cars. I have even gotten into F1 and own some Petronas gear out of pride for feeling like a tiny part of the AMG ‘team.’
MB of Buckhead tuned the car to 402hp/424tq (their claim). I also swapped the Pirellis for Michelin 4S before my Road Atlanta event. Best $1200 I’ve ever spent on a car. Handling and “ride is too bumpy” wife complaints are both dramatically improved.
“These are a few of my favorite things.”

5 things I hate about my C43:
1. My dash rattles constantly
2. The runflat tires
3. All AMG line 2019 C300s will have our grill and wheels
4. The transmission stutters at low speed
5. Too easy to bend rims
Bonus: my keyless entry doesn’t work and the dealership has attempted to fix it twice.

1. My dash rattles constantly. Can't find the source, it sounds like it comes from the passenger (right) side.
4. The transmission stutters at low speed. I adapted to the car; the throttle is very sensitive at S and S+.
Bonus: my keyless entry doesn’t work. Mine stopped working partially. The windows down function and the foot trunk operation!
Other than these, the car is excellent!

I always wanted to ask if someone else xp the same issues as I did for my 2 months old C43. Looks like you named a few!

It took me a while but I got it.
In regards to S and S+ you should be driving in comfort for the first 1500kms

My car has the transmission update, yet my car will still “buck” back and forth once or twice a week.
I have given up on the keyless entry. It works 25% of the time. Dealership will fix it and it stops working after a few days.
My front bumper, rear bumper, and hood also do not lineup properly. The hood is so off that if occasionally hits my quarter panel when I shut it. You would think the car was in an accident, but no just great MB build quality...
