I actually called the company and they suggested the OPTIMUM Pads but they did tell me that they would dust more than ceramic.

Thanks for the heads up. I installed them and while bedding them in I noticed a significant difference in pedal feel.

In a good or bad way?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Mushier pedal and considerable fade. Brake fluid is new.

They felt fine today with a couple of stops from high speed. Pedal was firm. No fade.

After talking to R1 about ceramic pads I went back to stock pads for school. I will still give an update on how the pads behaved on track.

Good news....I feel a little better about this! Those ceramics should be fine for street driving -- all kinds of street cars use ceramics. They do not really belong on a track though.

Well after 7 20 min sessions at PBIR I can say that the stock pads held up really well. No fade, firm pedal and very little wear. I was not as aggressive as I would have been in my Spec Miata but still braked late from 133mph and they hauled me down every time. Car was very good considering the full tread depth summer tires.

Thanks for the report! Have fun and stay safe on the track!
