There are a couple of us in this boat. I can't figure out why.

I just picked up my car on Monday and absolutely love it. But, I noticed the same issue, the “welcome screen” no longer appears. I know this thread is few months old, but has anyone figured out how to fix it?
Obviously a nit but it’s still annoying lol.

Instead it's old thread, when I opened it, the idea it's precisely this one, that any questions, feedback etc.. related to the digital dashboard, from users to be centralized in one thread. It's an interesting point. Possibly it's a market difference.

I noticed in some videos, some 43 AMG has the welcome message with the AMG line and diamond grille and others has the standard non-AMG double blade grille. 63 AMG then has the panamericana grille

regards

Thanks Edc43AMG, honestly I don’t even recall which welcome message I was seeing because it no longer appears lol. (I’ve only had the car for four days). There must be a setting somewhere to turn it on or off, but I’ve yet to figure it out.
Anyway, so many other things for me to try out on this amazing car, should keep me busy for awhile lol.

I've seen that on mine on startup twice, otherwise just that check for key message, might try reading the manual or asking the dealer. It was very cool looking when I saw it.

Yeah it is cool...and I have looked in the manual but didn’t find anything. Was hoping someone who has had the car for awhile may have already found a fix for it

The only way I've gotten it to appear, is to get in the car and close the door, then wait for the lighting and dash to go dark. When I push the start button, the intro screen comes up. I haven't had it work in any other scenario.

Thanks I’ll have to at least give that a try.
I’m thinking there must be some setting I inadvertently changed which is why it no longer appears. Will keep looking...thx

Just collected my 2019 two days ago. That welcome screen is such a gimmick. Can I turn it off?
