I was just about to buy a 2019 C43 with the stock Black Dynamica interior (red stitch) with Anthracite Oak interior but I saw it just now in the service bay and for my money, the Anthracite is brown. They tell me it's charcoal, but it looks VERY brown to me.
Anyone have this and able to comment? Maybe my lighting was bad. The combo didn't really blow me away - I have the open pore ash trim in my 450 and love it.
I think it's H31, but call Anthracite here in Canada. Pick from the build tool above and one I snapped a few minutes ago at the dealer. I don't think it's a lighting trick, I think it's brown ;-)
I have Anthracite Oak...and it looks mostly grey/charcoal to me (and my wife). Under some lighting conditions (florescent lights in a parking garage, for example) some brown hues show up, but day-to-day it looks grey.
IMO it looks dull and unimpressive. I love natural grain walnut but the trim I saw looked like a cheap veneer. In person it looked very much brown. It’s my least favorite trim option. I didn’t take any photos but here are some that portray it accurately.

It's the trick of the light. It has black and browns streaks in it, and depending on the lighting, time of day, etc. it can look brown to shades of gray. If anything, I think it leans more to the brown shade.
Sort of like that dress that people couldn't tell if it was blue or gold.
@ nikodes ... that's not the Anthracite Oak. The picture at the bottom of post 2 is what my Anthracite Oak (aka Natural Grain Grey oak) looks like 98 percent of the time.
received my 2019 c43 tuesday with Anthracite Oak and it is grey/charcoal for me and my wife and we love it ! way better than dark ash and piano black ( In my opinion )
Awesome thanks guys. I believe mine was stained incorrectly in the factory. I'm picking the car up tomorrow and will drive around with it brown until the new pieces show up at the dealership and then I'm apparently going to have it fully replaced. Hoping the dealer can do that service without squeaks.
