Hey everyone,

This happened to me the other day and I'm curious to see if anyone here has experienced the same thing. I was driving, probably 30-35 mph, when all of a sudden the car shook for a split second, followed by the check engine light turning on for a second or so before turning back off. The jolt rocked the car as it was moving, nothing crazy but I definitely felt it. I haven't noticed any issues since and the CEL has yet to come back on.

This happened to me a few months ago aswell, Went over a speed bump and CEL came on for a second then went away, No issues since.

That's odd, I wonder what could've caused it. It's almost like the engine or transmission snagged on something for a brief second and corrected itself.
