exhaust valves location?
can someone tell me where the exhaust valve flaps are located on the C450 ?
is this flap on the header? or is it at the exit of the exhaust just before/after the mufflers?

Here's some pics of a C63 muffler and valve. C43/450 is probably similar.

I don’t think the c450 ever had flaps. If you’re talking about the performance exhaust, MB started offering that on the c43 as an option.

No flaps on the C450. Exhaust volume is determined by rpm. Crackles and pops are initiated through ECU mapping and are only present in S+ mode.
On the C450, the downpipes merge to a single exhaust line that runs through a single resonator. After the resonator it splits at the Y-pipe and runs to the dual mufflers. There are no bypass valves on those mufflers.
