Calipers painted Toronto
Had my calipers painted "burnt copper" at a place in Markham, Ontario called Spence Tire 647-680-9308. Job quality is amazing, looks factory!

I talked to the guy that did the job and I was told that calipers are painted on the car (for obvious time and technical reasons), with that said if requested they would try to mask the rear pads as best as possible otherwise they will always just paint them.
I won't lie, this is something that will bother me. Not sure if it will bother me enough to replace nearly new rear pads though.

After giving it some thought I felt that it was not worth throwing away perfectly good brake pads. Its not like it looks obvious or bad. My only issue is that I want the paint to look stock.

lol, almost same here! I finally replaced rear pads at 30k miles. Fully expected to change fronts at the same time, but when I pulled pads to inspect, still 50% meat left. It always seems like others are changing way more often, so I generalized a bit with the "most people" comment above.

Turn off traction control (go into Sport ESP) and your rear brakes will last longer. They are being applied without your knowledge as a counter-measure to stability and control when traction control is activated (Default position)
