Honestly, I wouldn’t even consider a “blind” one-dimensional tuning box from the stone ages. I’d rather run stock.

At the very least, a tuning box that has RPM reference input!

The only "spamming" I see is them chiming in with a reliable solution and following up with recommendations and answers when asked. They can spam me all they want with that. Their website doesn't add any power to my car, but their JB4 does...I couldn't care less if they give 10x more marketing attention to BMW. More power to them, that's where the money is. They are running a business after all. RaceChip is doing the same thing, only their generic, non-specific website clearly shows they're playing the opposite side of the coin by casting a wide, shallow net.

I see it this way - a dyno shows one snippet of time in more or less controlled, confined, non-real-world environment. At what point is the weight of that snippet outweighed by 100s+ of other personal, first hand experiences of people sharing their experience and satisfaction with the platform? I'll put my stock in the Dragy leaderboard over a single dyno chart at this point.

Everyone who's happy with the RaceChip - great. You can share your support without backhandedly or outright bashing everyone else.

Only MBs - the best or nothing

Since I was quoted, I assume "outright bashing everyone else" was addressed to me. That is the biggest spin which should be envious even by our most expert politicians in DC. I do not have RaceChip nor plan to have one. My post is totally unbiased unlike yours.

My response about the spamming was directed at you. The backhanded bashing comment was not, and is a more general comment on how tuner bashing has been since the dawn of time, hence the paragraph starting with "everyone else..."

Edit: and I'll broaden it out even further by saying that's how it goes on forums in general. It was happening 14 years ago when I was on AudiWorld (tunes and vendors in general), on TacomaWorld (plate bumper/suspension/lighting mfg X vs. Y). It's just how it is. And yes, I'm ignoring your trash politics comment.

And one more edit: where's your dog in this race? You don't own a RaceChip or JB4?
